This is ridiculous.. It accepts the porous analysis that it imports that are making manufacturers. No manufacturing can thrive in a country where interest rates on loans is 30%, corporate tax is 25%, the cedi loses value against major currencies like mad, Electricity/ water and petrol prices have more than double public procurement is rigged and corruption is rife. Ban every imported product and our manufacturing firms will still not be competitive. Import licences punish consumers not importers. We will bear the brunt of price hikes and shortages. Spio must get a refresher course in history and economics before he wrecls the economy further

Let the local industry compete with the foreign one,until when will they be protected,were we not in this country when Ghacem was increasing price arbitrarily,rather reduce electricity cost to reduce cost of production.
