The Conti project is not only about dredging the Odaw river. It includes building storm drains to capture water descending from the Aburi mountains and emptying into the Odaw river.

This is not the time to stop any dredging works. With the rainy season already started the works must go on whoever has been awarded the contract. Each time dredging starts someone or the other complains about the contract for the dredging. Put that aside and get the Odaw dredged. The mouth of the Odaw river right up to Circle must be dredged completely and immediately to allow speedy outflow of all the water from the large catchment area. This is no time to be doing anything to slow down or to hinder the dredging works.
