He told TV 3 that although the matter has become a major issue in Ghana, the Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta didn’t make a big deal of it, declaring “we actually went through the brochure, he (Uhuru Kenyatta,) didn’t show he had noticed those mistakes”.

The catch here is Uhuru did not show he had noticed those mistakes. The fact that he didn't show he had noticed those mistakes, doesn't mean he hadn't noticed them, and if stories about this embarrassment captured in the Kenyan dailies are anything to go by, then it stands to reason, not only had he noticed them, but Kenyans and other nationals within their jurisdiction and those present in Ghana for the independence anniversary all noticed this dangerous and embarrassing gaffe.
The reason given by John Mahama as referenced above, for its child-like quality could be forgiven if it were to be coming from a primary school pupil, but coming from John Dramani Mahama, the President who ironically on the day in question was heard talking about Ghana and excellence within the same sentence, shows there is a huge disconnect between John Mahama and reality. He clearly leaves in an alternate universe not given to reality.
And to think this matter would be treated by scape-goating of the issues, shows a very unbelievable lack of leadership, accountability and responsibility, it is completely horrendous as it is disturbingly worrying.
It is this monstrosity of failed leadership that has seen Ghana becoming a failed state, where for example, the gov't together with its parliamentary majority, pat themselves on their backs when they approve a contract bloated by almost a staggering $9 million dollars. Another is, concerning this very brochure gaffe, the design and printing of the crap is singly sole-sourced on cash basis with no evidence of documentation and the taxpayer is bilked for 15-20x the cash amount of one of the nonsense captured in that brochure.
The very unassailable verdict is, John Dramani Mahama cannot lead this country. He has failed and he must go. Nothing is working in that gov't and Ghanaians will not bear the brunt of such carelessness and recklessness whilst they suffer and the country collapses any longer. The John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't must go.
