There are issues that are indefensible and to attempt to defend such things is plain wrong. In an attempt by John Mahama to shore up his dwindling image from his failed leadership, the humiliation and embarrassment he has suffered has actually made it worse for his image.
For journalists to be restrained in their normal course of duty to the point of violence, is not only revolting, it is reprehensible and smacks of a country with Kim Jong Un tendencies.
The whole episode from a desperate leader looking for validity, to the boycott by the Scottish MPs, to the restraining of the journalist, was an unprecedented moment of humiliation and embarrassment.
There was nothing proper and right about this whole debacle and it is most unfortunate.

The Ndc gave the clearest indication of their bad ways, when Sipa Yankey was appointed to head a $ 1 billion state institution. He had been rejected by Parliament, when he was presented by the Ndc to be approved as a Minister of State. In recent times, Ndc government appointees caught in acts of horrendous crimes,have rather found sanctuary at the seat of government. This is certainly not the way to fight corruption.

At least, scores of people can testify to the fact under the leadership of JDM, various institutions such as the judiciary have been strengthened to protect the public purse. This was evident in the case invloving - Angmorte V. Attorney General (marietta Brew) where the High Court awarded a sum
of approximately GH¢99 million against the State. Dissatisfied with
the judgment the State appealed. The Court of Appeal agreed with the State and set aside the judgment of
the High Court.The result was that
the State avoided payment of about
GH¢ 99 million to the plaintiffs by pursuing and winning the appeal.

In effect, this is the kind of good leadership JDM provides despite the numerous challenges.
JDM in all humility is working in the best interest of Ghanaians and all attempts to damage his hard won reputation will not materalize.

Unlike the NPP, the NDC government has proven that it is against corruption by, allowing the court of law to take it due cause in all situations of corruption.

Typical examples are traceable in the case of Woyome, GYEEDA and Smartyys.

This government is second to none when it comes to the fight against corruption.

It is on record that the NPP has the worst corruption record in the history of this country and this assertion was confirmed by Dr Agambilla former deputy minister of finance under the Kufuor administration who described the NPP's approach to politics and governance as procurement politics in a widely circulated book he wrote after he left office.
In effect were we not in this country when the former speaker of Parliament under the NPP, Ebenezer Begyina Sekyi Hughes looted his official bungalow empty when he was leaving office? Shamefully, He even carried along all the curtains, furniture and even flower pots and this story was aired by several credible media houses like citi fm, joy, etc pots. what a shame!!!
Moreover, the least said about the state lands and bungalows the NPP sold cheaply to its cronies like Jake obetsebi lamptey et al, the better.
In all humility, whether the NPP likes it or not, JDM will still retire Nana Addo come Nov 7 sbecause Ghanaians will never give them the NPP the chance to blled this country dry again.

Supreme Court ruling was most absurd because it is there to protect the freedom and right of the individual against state oppression. A company which wins a tender contract does not have any constitutional right to take the contract to parliament for ratification. Thus is it the stat that has the answer why she did not send the contract to parliament for ratification.
But the real issue here is that the state terminated the contract without consulting the other party which is Alfred Agbesi Woyome to resolve matter arising out of the termination of the contract.
The Supreme Court stated that the contract is an international one, thus it should be ratified by parliament before it is binding. But the contract was abrogated by the President who was not part of the tender process, I mean former President John Agyekum Kufuor and since a former president can not be held responsible for not ratifying an agreement, thus a citizen should not suffer because the president's dereliction of his duty.
I have been writing on this forum that a person who have his bread does not lost it, thus a person who has his bread in his hand can not accuse another of stealing it. There is also a saying that if you do not have a horn you do not loose it. Human being is not a perception so is the world in which we live. So a person who live by perception of corruption does not live in the real world and should not be taken serious.

As a reminder, it was NPP's own greatest president Kufour who gave up the fight on corruption because "corruption has been with man since Adam and Eve." Then it was the mighty Nana Akufo-Addo who sat idle by while Kufour was engaged in reckless corruption in state land giveaways. Someone should tell me when does Nana Akufo-Addo start his corruption fight? Is it when NDC officials engage in corruption? Nana Akufo-Addo cannot be a man with love for Ghana; he is loyal to political party over country if he cannot speak out against Kufour era corruption and or could not expose Kufour while criminal activities were taking place. Any idiot in Ghana can talk smack after the fact and Nana did just that by telling us of his knowledge on Kufor era land giveaways after Kufour had left office.

Did Kufuor and his political henchmen and their cronies not loot government properties before leaving office? NPP is always accusing others of the very things that NP has done in the past. No matter how hard Mahama and his administration fight corruption, you NPP serial liars will continue to deny that the administration is genuinely fighting corruption.
