The issue of Atta Mills's relationship with Rawlings and wife, Konadu was that they underrated Atta Mills in a way that they both thought they could continue to control him as they did when he was then the vice-president to Rawlings.

The anger of both the wife and Rawlings came to light in those days when they saw that Atta Mills' presidency didn't accept some of their major suggestions; for example the handling of the NPP with a hammer in hand style, in a form of retaliation of the bad ways the Kufour government mistreated Rawlings and the wife.

This firm stand of Atta Mills' resistance to the many requests of Rawlings destroyed their earlier good relation of which Rawlings and wife dominated. From here onwards Rawlings with his usual behaviour of loving to be the boss always never saw goodness in Atta Mills anymore hence the target was to destroy him on every occasion that befell him till today that we all hear again condenming him.

Atta Mills did well in his time of which there is no argument. In reality what did Rawlings do that is or was extremely super. Atta Mills never stole any government money, therefore he was not corrupt just like Rawlings but if there was any dent in his rule so there was corruption in Rawlings rule too because Kufour jailed some of his ministers.

Kufour too had a cabinet with dirty hands, Anane and Ghana Airways properties, Kufour and hotel saga, K T Hammond and the Accra Students Hostel stolen Land at the Airport Area. Again the Drill ship with Akuffo Addo and K T Hammond, even the motorway lands that Kufour and his guys stole via the REZONING OF GOVT LANDS POLICY STRATEGY they applied for the operation of stealing government lands.

All these never talk good about all of you, the politicians, so in my view Rawlings ought to keep quiet on any issue of Atta Mills because none of them did better than Atta Mills.

JJ never respect those learned Ghanaians who trooped to follow him especially, Professor Mills and there are plenty of evidence to support that. When one allow his/her stomach to direct his/her sense of thinking, the result is what we keep hearing from JJ.

Why JJ never stop making those reckless and inflammatory remarks about our former president? How does the death of Mills saved the party he founded? Mills ghost is still crying for the unpardonable mistake he made for following JJ because despite being a learned professor, he did not think twice before going to JJ to be accepted as a disciple before becoming a president leading to his untimely death.

Mills was killed as a sacrificial lamb to appease the gods that NDC signed a bond with and JJ, will never stop making those stupid remarks no matter what happens.

Yet, he couldn't solve our problems after 19 solid years as head of state and President. Some of us are sympathisers of the ruling NDC, but do criticise when they go wrong like branding of the metro mass buses. But please give credit when necessary. That is absolutely correct.It is a statement of a fact by the founder in which pretentious characters who have no NDC at heart are rejecting.It is this same sycophants and opportunists who are only using the party as vehicle to enrich themselves who are maliciously fabricating and concocting stories to tarnish the hard earned reputation of the Founder.It was these criminals parading as NDC members who were fomenting trouble by pretending Jerry Rawlings had a hand in Atta Mills' Death just because he rightfully criticize Atta Mills who was veering off the party's ideology and objective.How can Papa J have a hand in the death of Atta Mills who was already chronically ill and old.Those closed to the presidency then, talked about then vice president Mahama performing the duties of the late president because he was so sick and indisposed.In deed external forces and mercenaries within the party pretending to be staunch NDC members or gurus if you like took full advantage of the ailing president to push through their dubious agenda of hijacking the party and imposing their own ideals and philosophy.What they forget is that the NDC as a party was born out of a revolutionary organization,the PNDC with loyalists other than the founder prepared to fight back to enure the ideology and philosophy of the party is adhered to other than individual(s) selfish,grandiose ideas.To say the party has grown big and complex is a fact.To say we have perverts who are in the party for their own personal gratification and self aggrandizement is also a fact.To say some gurus have thrown the objectives of the party in to the gutter and betrayed its ideology as a social democratic party is absolutely correct.They are the most callous of traitors who let the party's ideology down and allowed mercenaries in to high jack the party for their vested parochial interest.Most of the top brass of NDC in government today either defected from the opposition NPP or were roped in from other parties.They are not loyalists of the PNDC revolution and not likely to adhere to the working principles of the PNDC for which the tenets of the NDC revolved around as a social democratic party.Even gurus of NDC who by nature should be committed to the party's ideology have wickedly betrayed the course of the party for self seeking and self gain. The NDC was not structured to create wealth and power for individuals within the party to be worship as demagogues.It is a social democratic party with an agenda of social justice and equality for the poor masses who have often reposed faith in the party.The NDC wins election because the majority low social class usually vote in favour of the NDC because they believe the party will solve their problems.When you have a situation where the party risk departing from its socialist ideology in the interest of the masses by encouraging overt corruption,nepotism,cronyism,factionalism with the intention to divide and rule ,you expect loyalists to fight back.The Founder is only leading by example.The Founder is absolutely right by bemoaning pervasive,endemic corruption and malpractices that is not enuring to the benefit of poor masses in line with the party's ideology as a social democratic party that stands for social justice,freedom and equality.The party risk losing the trust of the masses with possible anarchy when overt corruption,oligarchy,opulence with impunity on the part of government functionaries,top civil servants and associates is encouraged.The party risk losing the trust of the masses when millions of cedis are diverted by organized crime syndicates in public institutions and government organization unchecked and unpunished in the midst of agonizing pain and suffering by the masses and poor tax payer.In fact majority particularly at the grassroots level of the party who toil so hard to bring the party into power had hoped President Mahama would have swiftly corrected these anomalies by the late Atta Mill's administration.To be fair nothing substantial have been done in rectifying these anomalies though the grassroots machinery galvanized him into power with trust in a young,dynamic,experienced politician who have risen through the ranks of the party with a better understanding of its ideology and objectives.The infiltration and influence by mercenaries,expatriates and traitors alike is incredibly huge with the potential of killing the grassroots machinery and loyalists base of the party.Sabotage,vindictiveness,persecution,oppression,blackmail,gossip,corruption,lies,power drunkenness and aggressive pursuit of wealth is now the other of the day in the current NDC.It is remarkable to state that people who campaigned relentlessly for the Mahama administration dismissed from public institutions in retaliation by anti-government forces was with the help of so-called top gurus of the party in Ministerial position and government.Those NPP men and anti-government forces doing all the bad things in public institutions and undermining the government are incredibly covered for inexplicable reasons.These are top civil servants engaged in overt criminality and massive corruption in public institutions deliberately sorting out perceived NDC sympathizers for fear of being reported.Paradoxically,when they are reported including letters to the presidency at Flagstaff House,no action is taken against them. Your guess is right as mine when we think corruption is indeed a huge issue with this government.When Papa J talks about clamping down and prosecuting corrupt public officials sabotaging the government,he is absolutely right.One can only smell a rat with a possibility of skeleton in the cupboard when government is timid and lackadaisical in swiftly and stiffly dealing with reported corruption in public institutions linked with government or party functionaries.When Papa J talks about the president being a good man but surrounded by bad people,he is absolutely right at least in the wake of petty administrative and bureaucratic issues that have consistently embarrassed the president both locally and abroad.You can't trust these are responsible people committed to helping the president as a national call other than the usual 'chop,chop'.

Even with the pain of ill-health, the good prof achieved an enviable record of development and stabilisation within the 3.5 years that he was president. Ghana was too small to mourn this great man at his passing so the heavens joined in to give him a befitting burial. This was a man whose gentle influence was seen even in death. His memory continues to linger on powerfully.
