Raymond Kwame Amankwah, who is well known in the International Community as a hard core drug baron was arrested and sentenced to a 14-year prison term at the Provisional Detention Centre at Caucaia in Brazil for drug trafficking.
Under Nana Akufo-Addo's watch as the Attorney General, three NPP women from Dzorwulu, were caught trying to smuggle narcotics out of the country. The dockets of the three narcotic women got lost under mysterious circumstances.
Is this why the NPP is desperate to capture power from the NDC so they can continue with their shaddy deals and make Ghana a depot for illegal drugs. this will not work. Ghanaians are watching

Also even if these 3 are not a threat to our national security, it is what they teach these security personnel of NPP that could be of grave consequences - Sniper training, Bomb Throwing and Assassins.

The irony of all this though is that Nana Addo needs huge protection from his own party members than the ruling party or any other Ghanaian individual.

However, what ever negative plans the NPP has will be thwarted. the NPP is under high scrutiny now and their negative plans will not fall through. we will continue to support the President who is bent on supporting the country by making massive investments in health, education, electricity, water and others. A national equipment replacement program implemented by the President has ensured the provision of critical diagnostic and treatment equipment for over 150 hospitals nationwide.

If the NPP indeed has nothing to hide, why didn't they do the right thing by informing the Ministry of interior about the trio which came to Ghana under their invitation with the pretense of doing legitimate business only to found doing otherwise.

The government of Ghana did not break any law by accepting the two Gitmo detainees. moreover, Ghana was not the only country to accept detainees. Georgia received 6, Uruguay 6, United Arab Emirates 6, Jordan 5, Bermuda 4, Bosnia and Herzegovina 4, Turkey 4, Germany 3, Somalia 3 among others.
There is everything wrong with what the NPP did.
Is the |NPP a security company? how can you go and start training young men without any documentation from the ministry of interior?
It is absurd and it must be treated with the greatest of contempt.

Give us a break and if you have ample evidence that implicates any NDC member of any wrong doing, go and report to the nearest police station. If any individual who has the money to do so chooses to invite a private consultant into the country to train Ghanaians in anything --- whether that is carpentry, how to make building blocks, how to organise security, how to do hairdressing, how to manage hotels, or how to monitor or run an election --- they have the right to do just that. It is valid business.

If they are paying for the service themselves and the people they are training are privately employed individuals, and they are not engaging in business that harms Ghanaians, that is fine.

Those NDC people who have been inviting South Americans to Ghana to come and teach our people how to smuggle large consignments of cocaine to Europe are the ones we should be worrying about!!!

The IGP needs to hold all his commanders responsible for all activities in their areas of command bordering on security. Crowd control during elections are the sole prerogative of the police. Secret security training involving the use of weapons is strictly prohibited. I stand to be corrected, no Private Security Company is allowed to bear arms. NPP must have a deep reflection and see if one day they would not regret this line of action they have embarked on.
