Northerners warned Afoko that a Northerner has no place in NPP. All they do is fool you to deceive your people up there to vote for NPP. After they win you the Northerner will only be in the fringes and benefiting from only what crumbs drop off the dining tables of the Akyem/Ashanti mafia.

Nobody has used as much of their personal fortune on NPP as Afoko, yet see how he has been humiliated!

NPP used to be practically non-existent in the North. Aliu Mahama single-handedly made NPP attractive in the North but see what happened to him: As VP he was a neglected nonentity. And when it came to finding a replacement for Kufuor, not a single southerner voted for Aliu!!! What votes Aliu had all came from his Northern brethren.

Afoko ignored what happened to Aliu and has had the rudest shock of his life. Bawumia thinks that the Ashanti/Akyem attitude to northerners does not include him. He should wait and see what will happen to him when Nana exits the scene, and this is merely 8 months away (November) when Nana will be thrashed ignominiously at the polls. It is then it will dawn on Bawumia that all the praises he is receiving now are a mere trick to spur him on to do more stupid things for the benefit of his deceivers.

Bawumia does not know that behind his back these people will be mocking him.

The NPP from generation shall and has continued to be a party with lack of respect for diverse opinions and it saddens the heart to know this are the very people who walk about proclaiming to paragons of democracy in Ghana.

It rather unfortunate. If you can reduce one of your own to this level of insults just because he refused to remain silence on views, then I can't tell what they might have done to an opponent.

The NPP should by now understand that, it is better to jaw jaw done to war war.

This certainly are not the caliber of people we need to steer the affairs of the country come December 7 and am strongly resolved that, John Maham would win again.

There are diverse opinions are there are damaging opinions. The reaction of some of those who have been side lined by the party says a lot about the sort of characters they are.

You obviously look for different qualities in those who steer the affairs of this country, timid, non decisive and reactive. That will never get you anywhere in life. People like you will obviously vote for John Mahama despite his incompetence's and weakness come December 7th but the over 5m people who voted for NPP and Nana Addo will do so and more. Where were you when NDC were kicking out the likes of Obed Asamoah and the rest? Was that lack of respect on their part? Yet you believe they are the calibre of people we need to steer the affairs of this country right? You obviously don't understand politics and how the brain of the politician works.

The man is too full of himself and not a team player. Yes he is the elected national chairman with no office. How could anyone believe that when Afoko was sold out to the Interpol by Sir John and his cohorts with some phony charge that he had committed some crime in the UK it was all without malice and had everything to do with getting the morally upright only to serve the NPP?

Sir John and his minions who had anointed Akufo-Addo as the NPP Flagbearer long before the Primaries even began, saw anyone who could oppose the Akyem 'Prime Minister' as a personal enemy and set to destroy that person.

That is the reason why the Akufo-Addo faction attacked Drs. Anane, Wereko-Brobby, Nyaho-Tamakloe, Apraku and others like Alan Kyeremateng so viciously for even considering contesting Akufo-Addo for the NPP flagbearership.

Afoko, who was then seen as Alan's man was therefore targeted for all kinds of malicious assaults, including lying to get him into trouble both internally and externally. And the same Akufo-Addo faction never let go their assaults when Afoko and Agyepong won against Sir John and Jake till the suspension of the first two.

Let's face it, the Akufo-Addo faction is ruthlessly evil. Period! If the NPP would win the Elections, it would because folks want to keep the Party together to get rid of John Mahama, not because they like Akufo-Addo so much.

It is therefore sad that the Akufo-Addo faction still maintains that antagonistic posture with the likes of Afoko. What good is that to the Party when such an attitude only enrages the supporters of Afoko and the other suspended leaders?

Your efforts to defend Afoko is out of place because the man himself has not refuted any of the charges made against him. All that he keeps saying is that he was elected so he cannot be dethroned by just a few members. Does this make sense? Should the president mess up constitutionally which may result in his impeachment, will such impeachment be carried out by the whole population which voted him to power or just a few elected parliamentarians? Or the election of someone makes him immune to removal from office if he goes against the will of those who voted for him? No I don't think so. I am neither for nor against Afoko but I think he has messed up big and has to accept the consequences. Now on the issue of NPP winning the elections not because of Nana but just that people want to get rid of the incumbent is a sour statement. Are you saying Ghanaians don't have the choice of voting for any other candidate from the numerous parties contesting in the elections? What about Akua Donkor who is challenging Mahama? Or do you mean parliament is going to be filled only with NPP members, impossible. As you have conceded NPP is winning the elections based on the fact that John Mahama has failed. But one fact you should not close your eyes on is fact that the NPP will win because people see Nana as a better candidate than all the others including John Mahama. Even from what you have written it can be deduced that you are against Nana, so why will it be difficult for the pro-Nana faction to tell who Afoko is from his actions? If he is only going to help with his resource and the party say they don't want it what is his beef? Do you see any NDC Politician doing that? Even Koku who was side lined by Mahama's government did not react in this way.

Being a vice president does not naturally guarantee you the presidential slot so stop using the Aliu Mahama excuse. What then is democracy? Per my lay man's understanding of what it is, I know it to be obedience for individual views whether for or against.

But it appears the NPP is yet to come to terms with this basic understanding, and as a result would not see eyes with anyone opposed to their ways of doing things.

It unfortunate the victim this time is no other than their won party chairman, Paul Afoko.

This in my opinion betrays the NPP in what they claim to know best. And with this kind of attitude, I do not think they are fit to lead this nation come November 7, 2016.

The journey so far for the nation requires that we remain forwarding with our approaches and vote for the NPP per the latest happenings in their fold would be a sad reverse, which should and can be avoided.
