They could have carried a suitcase full of their stolen money down to the BoG and had the funds transferred instantaneously to each individual team member. Alternatively, they could have cultivated a reputation of paying in full and on time by actually paying in full and on time. If the GoG was a trustworthy (which it isn't) enterprise, the Black Starts would never have considered not playing. A third option was to simply call the bluff of the blackmailing Black Stars and tell them to go fuck themselves as they forfeited the tournament. That's 3 other options in addition to "the only option" of airlifting. I think someone simply wanted a vacation and wanted government to pay for it, so they said the money "had" to be airlifted. Bullshit. This logic sinks.
