It is all well and good building roads, hospitals and schools but if you can't manage the economy all these efforts will mount to nothing. The last 7 years has shown NDC cannot manage the economy. Governments and corporations routinely transfer astronomical amounts of funds electronically every blessed day, so it's not true that the GoG's only option was to airlift the money. They could have carried a suitcase full of their stolen money down to the BoG and had the funds transferred instantaneously to each individual team member. Alternatively, they could have cultivated a reputation of paying in full and on time by actually paying in full and on time. If the GoG was a trustworthy (which it isn't) enterprise, the Black Starts would never have considered not playing. A third option was to simply call the bluff of the blackmailing Black Stars and tell them to go fuck themselves as they forfeited the tournament. That's 3 other options in addition to "the only option" of airlifting. I think someone simply wanted a vacation and wanted government to pay for it, so they said the money "had" to be airlifted. Bullshit. This logic sinks.
