If we can eliminate the other factors too, we would become civilized like Canada, where Dr Asante lives and God's spirit would be with us like he is with Canada and there would be no more poverty. God is God of order, not disorder.

Unfortunately, many developing country-borns in the diaspora are no longer citizens of their country. Dr Asante, for example, is not Ghanaians and doesn't feel Ghanaian. He has no plans to return to Ghana or help the country in any way. For example, the centre he founded is in Canada and not in Ghana. This is not a criticism of the individual but a fact of life that once people move they find it difficult to move back, just like majority of us who have moved from the cottages to the cities won't go back to the cottage. It's unfortunate but we should make our countries attractive enough to retain our brains. Second, we should have programs to attract them back or even come occasionally to contribute to our development the way many Jews go back to Israel to help. Just some thoughts or lamentation on migration facts we cannot do anything about.

When a scientific breakthrough is made it is to the benefits of all mankind. That is how scientists think. To solve a problem. Once the solution is found it becomes fruit for human consumption. His research and findings are in the field of fetal development and alcoholism. His work is used by Doctors worldwide to detoxify alcoholic pregnant mother's so that children born are not affected.

Great scientists. It is time for Ghanaians to begin looking at our problems scientifically than spending all their time in Churches, Mosques and synagogue. The solutions are in the labs.

Excessive religion dampens the brain, makes people lazy and coward. It does not liberate a society. Christ said seek and you will find, ask and it will be given; knock and it would be open unto you. He also said Know the truth and the truth shall set you free. These point to asking why, how and what questions.

Ghana has no problems at all, all our "problems " are lack of direction and focus all sitting on the platform of corruption and ignorance.
