You will keep the animals in ranches..how would you do that? The Fulanis are not from Ghana and like to wander with their cattle. Is Akufo Addo going to force them to buy land, or give them free land? How about feeding the cattle once they have been kept in a pen? Is he going to make the Fulanis farm to feed their cattle or give them free feed?

There are a lot of details that are missing in this promise. Again, these politicians think we are stupid so they can drop some half-baked solutions here and there and we will just lap it up. Nana, if you want us to take you serious, come up with serious solutions.

Making promises is quite easy but how competently you address problems that face you will leave no doubt about your ability.
When you fail to solve real problems that confront you and there is chaos all around you yet you promise to solve all of Ghana's problems when voted as president, it is like someone who cannot rule his own house but want the world to believe that he can rule the country perfectly. Such promises lack credibility and Ghanaians are discerning enough to reject it.

Cattle are everything for the Fulanis - their culture, their worldview rests on the cattle; their prestige, position in life depends on the cattle. For centuries the cattle lifestyle is all they know.

The will resist the ranching idea, however good it might be.

Akufo-Addo has to spend time learning about Fulani culture.
