Why should anybody be obsessed with the idea that 72 is too old an age. That's an insult. But most importantly, it shows the condition of health of the person so obsessed. If a person at 42 feels like dying, health wise, he can't naturally understand why a 72 year person is still living. That was why a 42 year old friend of mine, an age mate, disagreed with me strongly, citing age, when I announced to him that I was leaving the country for further studies. When I asked about him two years later he had passed away, sad to say.
We all know the story of the French lady who lived to be 122 years old. When she was 90, a 40 year old man entered into a contract with her by which he paid a financial support of so much money monthly, 500, until she would pass away. Then he would take over the ownership of the old lady's house. Thirty years later, the young man died at 70 and the old woman was still alive at 120. At a press interview, she said aptly: "The man entered into a bad business." Let's not presume to know that somebody 20 years younger is going to die last. God, in His great wisdom, didn't create the young always to die last. Death goes about picking whom he likes in many different, unforeseen ways. Let the so-called young not be too proud, but fear God.

Under Mahama we are seeing the construction of two 350 MW Coal fired plants which is designed to help meet the energy demands of Ghanaians. This project shows the kind of effort being put in place to permanently solve dumsor.

Road construction under Mahama has seen a major boost. I can talk of the 17.4 km stretch of the Ho-Fume road in the Volta Region. Today when Ghanaians travel they see quality roads over all the country.

Based on these and several other projects undertaken by Mahama. I am confident that he will win the November elections.
