  Those who have been bold enough to challenge government policy have been kicked out much sooner. Wampah survived this long precisely because he has been submissive, placing the desires of the government before sound fiscal and monetary policy.
  
  I see you do the unfair thing by comparing Ghana to the United Kingdom.
  
  First off, the institutions in the UK work. The institutions in Ghana are weak and always conspire against the person who wants to do the right thing.
  
  We like to think African governments are determined by the people. That is far from the truth; African governments are run by vested interests - those you refer to as 'hidden players'.
