  There is no such thing as apolitical. even those who do not vote have their ideological leanings.
  All we need is a competent BOG boss regardless of party colours.
  I will not vote for a party who will ignorantly ask someone who is not loyal to them to lead a national bank. That is the hazards of the job. It requires loyalty!
  I had no issue when NPP put their trusted loyalist in charge of the BOG. And I have no issue with NDC putting their man or woman there provided they are qualified and competent.
  Some position just have to be filled based on loyalty otherwise, government suffers. The high commissioners to the UK, our historical allies, ambassadors to the UK, Canada, Germany, France etc can only be filled strategically with political allies. It makes a lot of sense to do that.
  
  If you are still in doubt, ask the Brits, our standard for measurement of political correctness.
