We are not interested in who is walking around and telling us that he is transforming our lives. Put your hands in your pockets and see if your life is being transformed. Bawumia said if NPP wins the 2016 Poll they will scrap import duties on raw materials.It could have been better if Bawumia tells us if taxes on petroleum products such as oil and gas will also be affected.If we reduce the cost of producing energy in the country can that mean we are going to pay cheaper for electricity?I am expecting Bawumia as an economist to give us some commercial value.He must be able to tell us how much electricity will be cheaper if import tax are exempted.On the contrary,if Bawumia is not able to tell us the difference then I have a problem with such a policy.I think Ghana govt should invest massively in solar energy now to power all the street lights and incresing number of homes.This is one sure way of reducing electricity tarrif.Thank you.

If the Tuba farmers number 230 why cant the ministry of agriculture organise them properly by installing solar panels to replace what they are using now? Then u asked them to pay instalments to cover the cost. GHANA IS JUST ...
