Zoobie-Zoobie, it not overnight, this process had started over two decades now when the Polytechnics were established out of the then Technical colleges as an upgrade in 1992/1993. that said, the upgrade to Technical Universities gained attention last year where various Technical committees were set up to report on the requirements for establishing technical University, which includes Faculties that is Lecturers and resources such labs, and industrial relations for field research and so on. I know a group led by Dr. Afeti, former Principal of Ho Polytechnic went to Germany to under study German technical universities as a model for which we would establish ours.

Marcus Garvey said nobody can take science education from you. Kwame Nkrumah was trying to copy Marcus Garvey's ideas but could not see it to fruition. I hope you can make sure that Ghana becomes a technological based society where we design microprocessors, logic gates, computers,solar panels,cars etc. Ghana can do it.

No nation can become a first world nation without strong technical education. We are coming to give you help. Continue the good work.

Some of you guys are really silly! There are other re-branded Drs who could also be called upon to go and handle one or two courses at the TTU. A good example is one Dr John Agyekum Kuffour!
