If the govt had any intention, why should the 'govt' withhold only the Bachelor of Arts degrees but release degrees in other field of courses? The 'govt' could as well have withhold all degrees or? I used 'govt' because it is actually the UoG.

This is where I say you should use the head just a little bit. The reason is very simple: the UoG had accredited certain degrees (with a a given SET of courses). Should a private university offer a degree, whose courses fall outside the given SET of courses, then logically, the accreditation is no longer valid.

Am I mistaken here ??

I pause to ask where the person who filed the story got his information from? How did he check the authenticity of the story? This story is malicious and should be given the the contempt that it deserves. Just a little bit of advice though: The person who filed the story can enhance his professionalism by enrolling with the level 100 Communication Studies students at Central University next semester. He sue has a lot to learn in journalism.
