I have read the statement of the Citi FM boss with lots of sadness. Firstly he describes a fully fledged adult between whom the age difference might not be more than ten years as a boy - this Adakabre boy. That is a clear manifestation of how he looks down upon his employees at Citi FM where he sees himself as a demi-God for the simple reason that he has set up an FM station. Please let it be drummed home to Citi FM boss that his setting up of a radio station does not make him super human. There are lots of persons who can do that but for some reasons decide not to do so. I have seen very accomplished lawyers opting to work with some chambers not because they cannot set up their own chambers but because there are other things which make the said chambers very welcome to work within and the colleagues found therein. I did listen to the interview that was granted by Adakabre. He did not in any way seek to justify whatever perceived biases that he had towards the NPP. He rather as a sign of saying that he is above those pettiness cited the Nana Addo incidents to say that he could have done that but had decided not to do so. This Citi FM boss must know that his mere expression of his earlier disappointments in Nana Addo was in no way to seek a justification for whatever perceptions that the NPP had for the station.

There is one thing which is killing all of us as Ghanaians and it is this thinking that our elderly of supposed statesmen do not make mistakes. I am not in the least surprised at the desperate efforts being made by the NPP communicators to dismiss or discredit the allegations made a fast Nana Addo. Indeed that would have constituted a political suicide on the part of the NPP as a party. Of course the common candidate for the NPP to wrestle power is Nana Adoo and if his image is run down to this extent, then the whole political party would be in a huge mess and his victory would be a mirage. The Citi FM boss should hasten slowly in his comments. Yes he might be a sympathizer of NPP by his effusions and comments but when he is called on any network to express his opinions, he must at least respect Ghanaians and do the noble by being at least objective. I find it very reprehensible to see a supposed senior broadcaster trying to up the ire of the NPP against an individual colleague broadcaster. Some things could have been said or recommended on the quiet and not on such broad platforms.. I think regarding this particular comments of the Citi FM boss, he goofed big time.

President Mahama has chastised the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) for not selecting a competent northerner as its flagbearer.

Citing an example of former Vice President Ahaji Aliu Mahama, President Mahama accused the NPP for paying little attention to northerners.

According to him, the NPP has shown in the past that it has very little respect for northerners and therefore cannot be trusted.

The President made the remarks in Tongo when he resumed his camping tour of the Upper East region after suspending it for three days to attend to the victims of the Melcom disaster in Accra.

He said “our brother Aliu Mahama was Vice President for 8 years. I was Vice President for 3 and half years. For almost 12 years, we have tasted Vice Presidency. It’s no longer exciting. It’s no longer what we want.”

He said if the NPP wants votes from the northern part of the country, then they should put up Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia as their flagbearer to face-off with him.

“They want to win here, they should put him in number one and let two of us contest and then they will get something from here,” the president said.

Meanwhile, President Mahama has described the defeat of the republicans in the US elections as a good omen for the ruling NDC and an indication that similar thing will be replicated in Ghana in the upcoming elections.

According to him, anytime the democrat party win an election in the US, the NDC also wins in Ghana, making reference to the 2008 elections.

He said: “In 2008 polls in the USA, Obama won by chasing the elephant into the bush and later the NDC also chased the elephant into the bush in Ghana, and just this week, Obama has again chased the elephant into the bush, which will be replicated in Ghana in December.”

He said the performance of the NDC government in the last four years is enough evidence to encourage more Ghanaians to vote massively for the party in the forthcoming elections.

President Mahama said inspite of the increase in wage bills as a result of the implementation of the single spine salary structure, government is still economically solid to execute more development projects in the phase two of the Better Ghana Agenda.

But for all my doubts about usefulness of your query, I'd still help you out because l find your curiosity incredibly amusing. First, your guess wasn't correct; Adakabre did not go to school at Adonten. He attended Aduman Secondary School near Kumasi from 1977 to 1982. And for sure, he was an intelligent and diligent student, well-spoken and very politically conscious, for a secondary (high) school kid; even as a teenage student, names of commissioners and ministers were almost always on his finger tips and followed political developments in the country intimately. Thus, as his classmate at Aduman, the rock-star status Adakabre (aka Ernest Owusu-Frimpong) has been enjoying in the media has not come to me as a surprise. For me, he's merely burnishing, and taking new levels a God-given gift. Are you, okay, Nana Kwaku? God bless Ghana!

The only way someone can fault Adakabre and his concerned father is to prove that, they are lying in claiming Adakabre was threatened by Akufo Addo. However, reading the several instances and real witnesses(very close to Nana) of Akufo Addo's threats to poor Adakabre as mentioned in the story, I have no doubt that Adakabre's story is credible.
This is another confirmation that, Akufo Addo is an intolerant democrat. He only tolerates those who sing his praises and this is why he is dangerous.

The President

(4) Without prejudice to the provisions of article 2 of this Constitution, and subject to the operation of the prerogative writs, the President shall not, while in office, be liable to proceedings in any court for the performance of his functions, or for any act done or omitted to be done, or purported to be done, or purported to have been done or purporting to be done in the performance of his functions, under this Constitution or any other law.
(5) The President shall not, while in office as President, be personally liable to any civil or criminal proceedings in court.
(6) Civil or criminal proceedings may be instituted against a person within three years after his ceasing to be President, in respect of anything done or omitted to be done by him in his personal capacity before or during his term of office notwithstanding any period of limitation except where the proceedings had been legally barred before he assumed the office of President.

ARTICLE 64
64. CHALLENGING ELECTION OF PRESIDENT. (1) The validity of the election of the President may be challenged only by a citizen of Ghana who may present a petition for the purpose to the Supreme Court within twenty-one days after the declaration of the result of the election in respect of which the petition is presented. (2) A declaration by the Supreme Court that the election of the President is not valid shall be without prejudice to anything done by the President before the declaration. (3) The Rules of Court Committee shall, by constitutional instrument, make rules of court for the practice and procedure for petitions to the Supreme Court challenging the election of a President.". .

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, has stated that Lawyer Benony Tony Amekudzi would have been shot dead immediately after stepping out of court because he has wasted the time of the highest court of the land, if we were in the primitive ages.
According to him, Lawyer Amekudze was only allowed to present his application before the Supreme Court Judges because the law allows it, but if it was in the ?olden days, he would have been shot immediately after the court because he has wasted everyone?s time; but it is not so these days, and for the fact that he has legal backing to appear before the court, we would accept it?.
The out-spoken NPP General Secretary made this claim on Asempa FM during the assessment of Tuesday May 28, 2013 court proceedings, in which an application of Lawyer Benoni Amekudzi in the highest court of the land was dismissed.
Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie who is also known as Sir John was especially elated with the Supreme Court?s decision to quash the ?Amicus Curiae? brief application by Lawyer Amekudzi, which he believes should not have been started in the first place because it has done nothing but waste the precious time of Ghanaians and the Court.
?I am very happy that he cannot bring any application which would waste our time before the court again,? he added.

In perpetuating the National Award Day tradition for 2013, President John Mahama has nominated three distinguished personalities for the Order of the Volta Award (Member Division). They are Lawyer Kwablah Senanu, Judge Francis Kpegah, and Lawyer Tony Amekudzi.

In a statement issued by the Chairman of the Awards Committtee, Dr. Kpesseh Whyte, these personalities have rendered meritorious but frivolous services to the nation in various legal capacities even in sleep, retirement, and in some circumstances, weird appearances in court. He remarked that nations fall and rise on the backs of their heroes, and it was only appropriate to recognize personalities who unabashedly betrayed their partisan positions to render selfless services to their party, region and nation.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the NPP, Sir John, on Asempa FM, alleges the award is partisan, although the awardees deserve them. He hinted of a conspiracy to change the name of the award to the Order of the Ashanti, should the NPP emerge victorious in the ongoing court petition.

The awardees will be interviewed on Radio Gold's Morning Show program tomorrow. Counsel for Justice Kpegah, David Annan, says although his client is optimistic about the award, he harbors an uncanny fear of a possible impersonation plot, since his middle name, Yaonasu, was not included in the official award document. However, Dr. Kpesseh Whyte assured him that nothing of the sort would happen.

Lawyer Kwablah Senanu was spotted dancing in his residency to a gospel song from Emmanuel TV hours after his nomination. In a brief remark, he mentioned that following his recent deliverance from the jaws of sleep, he's been experiencing mild insomnia, and fears he might doze off again at the award ceremony. Meanwhile, every attempt to reach Lawyer Amekudzi proved futile. Some officials are wary the man is planning to stage an unexpected and possibly vexacious showing to protest the verdict of the court in a recent case regarding the constitutionality of suing, John Mahama in the ongoing petition.

THAT THOSE PASTORS AND OTHERS WHO SAW THE STONE AND ALSO PRAYED WITH ME SAID THE THAT IT WAS AN "EVIL STONE THAT WHEN THUNDER STRIKES HIT AND ALSO KILLED A PERSON AND THAT THOSE WHO STOLE MY MONEYS AND SOME OF THE COURT CASES THAT I AM DOING DID THE "EVIL ATTACK".
THAT ACCORDING TO THEM IF THE "EVIL STONE WERE TO HIT ME THAT WILL BE THE END OF ME" BUT BY THE GREATEST SAVING GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD THAT THE STONE NEVER HIT ME.
THAT WHEN I WAS GOING TO THE SUPREME COURT OF GHANA FOR THE REVIEW OF THE "AMICUS CURIAE BRIEF" THAT THREE (3) DAYS TO THE REVIEW DATE THAT ON SATURDAY, MAY 25, 2013 THAT MY LATE YOUNGER BROTHER FRANK KOFI AMEKUDZI WAS TRAVELLING TO KPEDZE THROUGH HO AND WAS INVOLVED IN A TERRIBLE LORRY ACCIDENT AND SUDDENLY AND SADLY DIED THE SAME DAY BUT HIS SUDDEN AND SAD DEATH NEVER EVEN TOUCHED THE HEART OF THE "POWERS BE". THAT THE STATE ATTORNEY AT KOFORIDUA WRONGLY ADVISED THAT THE DRIVER ATIDEKA NOT TO BE PROSECUTED ON GROUNDS THAT IT WAS THE TYRES THAT BURSTED.
THAT BOTH THE DRIVER ATIDEKA AND THE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE MR.BARNOR BOTH RESIDENTS OF NUNGUA IN ACCRA NEVER APPROACHED THE FAMILY UPTIL TODAY.

Both of them set up a refugee centre in the late 80s and siphoned thousands of pounds from Ghanaians who wanted to register as refugees in Leytonstone, London. When the British govt decided to recognise refugees en masse in the 90s, the father and son sold the certificates of those who have been recognised but had left the country to other ghanaians and africans. A friend bought one and worked in the name of that person until he himself was later recognised in his own name. I know hundreds who were were siphoned by these fradsters.

Why is that anytime people express their sentiments about Nana Addo it turns to be like the person was talking about NPP as a party? I don't get it. Let assume he is a president today and gone where would be NPP? Let NPP be a party and Nana be an individual who is leading the party instead of people think Nana is NPP. He is there for sometime. People don't let Nana Addo as a person bring all sort of things to the party. He is only one person and the party is big and bigger than him. Nana is not holy without fault. We all Asantes and Akims don't let two people's altercations affect our big families. We are not devided. What people are doing it seems we can't collect Nana Addo when he is wrong. To me is not fair. Nana is indeed our presidential candidate he needs to talk to. If you are a leader it doesn't mean everyone should likes or loves you. He should learn to accept his critics and work with them instead of divided people. Is not fair. Even our old boy Kuffour has been insulted n disrespected by our own people bacause of him. Is not fair for a leader to think he owns the party. He needs to be told when he did wrong thing.
