"What's this?" the husband inquired as he entered the room.
"Oh it's a statue," she replied,"the Davis family bought one and I liked it so I got one for us, too."
No more was said, not even when they went to bed.
Around 2 AM the husband got up, went to the kitchen and returned with a sandwich and a beer.
"Here," he said to the statue, have this. I stood like that for two days at the Davis house and nobody offered me a damned thing."

THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS THAT THE NPP AND THE NDC ARE ALL CHEATERS.

I think people are pretending to have short memories here, but I remember clearly the 'proceed on leave ', denial of promotions and many other evil things tge NPP did to Voltarians for 'daring' to support the NDC. Kuffuor says Ghanaians abroad were willing to come back home during his tenure, how laughable; most of those were taxi drivers, plate washers and gutter cleaner Akans who were made to come home and take up executive positions that qualified Voltarians had been removed from.It wasn't because of any miracle by the Kuffuor govt. Kuffuor also claimed he built Ho Poly, to what end? Where was Kuffuor expecting the graduates from Ho Poly to work when their fathers and mothers were being thrown out of jobs nationwide for being Voltarians? We as a people have tested both NPP and NDC and we know the difference. We know what we want.

Mahama found it convenient to order the posting of trainee nurses from his native Gonja tribe to newly constructed health posts dotted across his native Gonjaland whilst neglecting those from other parts of Ghana. He even sidelined the Lobis(Brefos) within the same region and Gonja districts. All these Mahama is doing to carve out a separate region from the present Northern Region for Gonjas. With this wicked agenda by Mahama, how can Ghana develop under his presidency.
Go and see how Prez Mahama of Ghana has transformed Gonjaland with Ghana money just within the two and half years that he has been in power. Every town, village and hamlet in Gonjaland has received a facelift with new facilities such as roads, toilet facilities, markets, mosques, good quality water projects, electricity extension projects, etc. The question is did J. J. Rawlings do the same thing to Voltarians when he was in power for twenty years? What about Atta Mills. The good old Prof was in power for three and a half years yet he was not selfish to only concentrate on his people in Ekumfi Etuam and the central Region but rather his whole thought was for the general good. No wonder under the care of Prez Mills, Ghana achieved a growth rate of 11%, single digit inflation and the smooth implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy where newly recruited police personnel received the nominal equivalence of 500dollars as monthly salary. Compare these achievements to the nepotism and selfish policies of the Mahama government that has crippled the Ghanaian economy. I really weep for Ewes and Fantis whose votes brought Mahama to power and yet are the hardest hit by the current hardship prevailing in the country.

The issue is one of comparison, not an absolute one. This means to answer the president you need to cite your projects along those of the NDC. President Kuffour attempted this and failed miserably. The NPP in deed carried out some development projects in the VR water, roads some few buildings in Ho Poly. However comparing what NDC has done in the area of water, road, schools, water, rural electrification, creation of Districts, the NPP project pills into thin air. President stated that JJ, Mills and Himself have carried out most of the major projects in VR and that is a fact. NPP may have done better in other regions, but in other regions, NDC record is outstanding and anyone challenging it would have a hard time.

The NPP can make noise about certain areas being neglected, but when the NDC or government makes similar noise about another area, the NPP jumps into the air with cries of tribalism. Just a few months ago, the NPP was crying about the government neglecting the Abuakwa area, a NPP stronghold, but it never viewed itself then as playing tribal politics.
