Despite the heavy financial difficulties among ECOWAS States, the 'incompetent Mahama's government has given the greenlight for open entry to all kinds of people from member States. This means next July 2016, Ghana is open to criminals, fraudsters, robbers, Boko haram,alqada for the Magreb, bankers,economic migrants.
Is this a wise decision at this time, or it is a grand plan to bring in foreigners to vote NDC to retain power? Why this time, a few months to a general election? Perhaps, the bloated voters' register, would reconcile after counting.

Mahama found it convenient to order the posting of trainee nurses from his native Gonja tribe to newly constructed health posts dotted across his native Gonjaland whilst neglecting those from other parts of Ghana. He even sidelined the Lobis(Brefos) within the same region and Gonja districts. All these Mahama is doing to carve out a separate region from the present Northern Region for Gonjas. With this wicked agenda by Mahama, how can Ghana develop under his presidency.
Go and see how Prez Mahama of Ghana has transformed Gonjaland with Ghana money just within the two and half years that he has been in power. Every town, village and hamlet in Gonjaland has received a facelift with new facilities such as roads, toilet facilities, markets, mosques, good quality water projects, electricity extension projects, etc. The question is did J. J. Rawlings do the same thing to Voltarians when he was in power for twenty years? What about Atta Mills. The good old Prof was in power for three and a half years yet he was not selfish to only concentrate on his people in Ekumfi Etuam and the central Region but rather his whole thought was for the general good. No wonder under the care of Prez Mills, Ghana achieved a growth rate of 11%, single digit inflation and the smooth implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy where newly recruited police personnel received the nominal equivalence of 500dollars as monthly salary. Compare these achievements to the nepotism and selfish policies of the Mahama government that has crippled the Ghanaian economy. I really weep for Ewes and Fantis whose votes brought Mahama to power and yet are the hardest hit by the current hardship prevailing in the country.

What really is the use of a criminal organisation like the ecowas? How do Ghanaians benefit from the existence of ecowas? It has rather been a drain on our limited financial resources. The sooner Ghana exits this useless group, the better it would be for all us. We have absolutely no interest in ecowas. The Ghanaian is, after all, capable of managing his own affairs. Ecowas must fall.
