I feel sorry for Bawumia because as the saying goes: God, help me to know who my friends are, for as for my enemies I already know them. Bawmia is foolishly thinking that the Akyems and some bad Ashantis are his friends, but he is terribly mistaken. (Generally, Ashantis are not as bad as Akeyms, but it is when Akyems radicalise Ashantis that they turn nasty e.g. Sir John).

Ask the government how much is spent on maintaining ethnic harmony and chieftaincy disputes at the North as compared to the South. It has just become too much for the country. Do we now understand why even people from the North do not want to take appointments there. Even if they are transferred there, they fight nail and tooth to move back to the South where they build up their mansions and neglect their own area.

In that case, infiltrators from across the Border, who would otherwise easily get away to their havens in the neighboring Countries, could be apprehended before they are able to return across the Border.

Then, the Recognizance and Surveillance would preempt potential infiltrators, and the Rescue would help with early interception of violence and save the wounded.

We would Need, at least, 6 Helicopters for all that to start. Two on each of the Western and Eastern Borders, 1 each on the Northern and Southern Borders. Or, we could keep on the Northern Borders where infiltrators are most likely to include dangerous Jihadists. The Southern Coastline could be well taken care of by the Naval Patrol.

The Chiana Chieftaincy is one that ridily comes to mind and we are at where we are now with the matter still at the Regional House of Chiefs.
