My beef with some class of officials in this country is that they do not have the balls to say it as it is. Okay, it is all right to keep one's job, as an offended government minister or the President will show such an official, the exit door. But all told, why should some officials, not directly in government, come out with laughable statements that can only be told the marines?
Other parties will handle a dumsor situation differently. Pragmatically and truthfully, as occurred in 2006/2007, under the NPP government. It did not take eternity to fix the problem. Ghanaians were also not subsequently asked to pay higher tariffs as we are being subjected to do now.
I believe, we heard it loud and clear when the president said : I John Dramani Mahama have fixed the dumsor problem. In what vein was the President making that statement? Officials should please keep their mouths shut, if they cannot tell the public what they truthfully hold in their hearts. Rev. Asante of the Christian Council is listening, I presume.

Some weeks ago, the father of this Jantuah guy came out to shamefully demean Greenstreet, the disabled flag-bearer of the CPP for being disabled. I am therefore quite happy that many Ghanaians are also paying his idiotic son in the same coin for being mentally retarded. As the saying goes, "what goes round comes around".

Even though this Kwame Jantuah boy claims to be a member and an executive of sorts of the CPP, he and his mentor, the so-called Professor Akosa, seem to be very much at home running errands for the incompetent and corrupt NDC Govt. It is therefore hardly surprising that he should say what he is said to have stated about the 'dumsor' which has virtually brought this country down to its knees.

During his last SOTN address before he leaves office this November, he said in 2015, when he stood before the House, he was going to fix the dumsor but he, John Dramani Mahama was pleased to inform Ghanaians, he had fixed dumsor dumsor, load shedding or whatever, he wants to describe it. And that under his tenure, the whole world had seen the unprecedented mobilization of effort to fix dumsor and he John Mahama has fixed dumsor, Ghana was now going to enjoy power 24/7 according to any sane individual's understanding of fixing it.
The contrary has happened to borrow the words of Haruna"adumdum adumdum b3 gya3"Iddrisu. Clearly it was either John Dramani Mahama did not understand exactly what he was talking about, whilst increasing utility tariffs for the purported so called fixing of the dumsor dumsor, or he doesn't actually have any idea or clue what he is doing at the Presidency except to engage in fanciful and incoherent talk. What has always been true though is that, the facts will always expose you, once it becomes untethered from the fiction and the crass propaganda, and that is exactly what is happening.
Indeed, the dumsor matter is a political issue and it is on the ballot this November. Considering what has been said by John Dramani Mahama and his propagandist NDC gov't, with regards to the previous NPP govt and what they have said about fixing it and according to them, having fixed it, jacking up utility tariffs to justify this so called fixing, when fuel prices and gas are at their lowest in almost a decade, and the effect of this dumsor on businesses, employment situation, prices of goods and services, the economy in general, dumsor is more than a political issue.
And the failure of the John Dramani Mahama govt to fix dumsor as understood by right thinking members of the Ghanaian society underscores the need to massively fire this highly incompetent and corrupt NDC govt speedily at the ballot box in November. This is the worst govt ever in the history if this country and they don't deserve a minute in office after 6pm on voting day. It is our position you promise to fix dumsor dumsor you fix it and not engage in such irrespobsibility (apologies to Haruna"adumdum adumdum b3 gya3"Iddrisu).
