Why should she be punished twice? She is already going to serve an 8 year sentence in jail in the UK. Isn´t that enough. It should illegal to do so in Ghana. It´s like the Court in Ghana want to keep her silent from disclosing the names of the powerful people involved in the case. No where in the World can someone be punished like what is being done in Ghana. It sounds like a personal vandetta against someone who is already paying a price. The question is can anybody in Ghana just make up a decision like that without anyone reacting. Is it because she has been involved in a drug syndicate? Yet, that is not the way to deal with the problem. She has committed a crime in the UK and not in Ghana.If there´s a prejucate in the laws in Ghana which says that anyone who commits a crime abroad should be punished in the country of origin then alot of people would be in very big trouble. They should rather find out the people involved who are still in Ghana instead of punishing her in a non democratic way.

Mahama hasn't tackled corruption in his government probably because he thought since 8years of NPP was crowned with corruption, his NDC has the right to do same. In my opinion, Mahama will lose this year's election since Ghanaians are not only satisfied with his development projects.

People have submitted applications for drivers' license for almost one year, without results, think of acquiring a passport, which is a mere fundamental right to every citizen. No system in Ghana is in work. Mahama could have done more to tackle corruption which is the bane of our Ghanaian society.

Probably, he Mahama might have amassed enough wealth and so is careless what the outcome of this year's election would be.

Did the law say they have to go to court to get approval before confiscating the assets of drug dealers,is it another way of throwing dust on our faces,what about the rest of her properties such as the one in East Legon which when they went to place notice on it for confiscation the mother attacked the officials,what happen to that case too,dead at the airport police station?

What about the other drug lords such as Joseph Anim Addo who owns a hotel in East Legon which he was using to cover up for his drug dealings up until he was arrested in the same London,is he off the hook,will he come back to still have his properties including the hotel?
The law should deal with everybody including the owner of the security company at Kotoka who was also arrested with drugs,we need to confiscate the assets of all drug dealers,not only selected few if we are serious to stop this business.

What about the bureaucrats and the so-called technocrats in Ghana who have embezzled huge sums of monies from the nation's coffers? I know of a friend who works with the Internal Revenue Service who right now has 10 mighty mansions( 3 in Takoradi,3 in Accra, 4 in Koforidua).He goes to church too. I also have more friend working in departments like Ghana Customs and Accountant General who are filthy rich and have houses in some states in The United States. These are ordinary civil servants in Ghana who have illegally stolen the country's wealth just to enrich themselves.We all the time blame the politicians as being corrupt. What about some government accountants, customs officials, IRS officials who have plunged the nation into financial chaos. The same people always turn around and blame the government of being corrupt. Ghana will never regain its lost sound financial status if the people in the helm of affairs do not repent from their diabolical practices.

Benjilo was a known drug smugglers who was caught and jailed, just like Eric Amoateng the NPP MPwho was jailed in the USA, but as Attorney General of Ghana under the Narcotic Peddlers' Party (NPP), Akufo Addict released the seized properties back to Benjilo.

Akufo Addict is also known to be associated with known cocaine smugglers like Raymond Amankwah (in Brazil jail for cocaine smuggling) and Nana Poku, among others.
