Two of the front row occupants are Bawumia and Sir John, because when one looks at the picture carefully, one can tell it's them by the smiles on their faces. There are witnesses who state that the NPP even tried to get elephants into the event to occupy seats, but their rear-ends were too big for the doors and the seats would not have been able to accommodate them either.

Normally the audience sit before the main speakers who are seated on the dais take their seats.
