This is sheer incompetence. How can you award a contract without carrying due diligence of the background of the winner? Another loot and share. I am sure the contracts were awarded to their cronies so they can share.

This is not about due diligence. The statement said some of the contracts are between 85/95% completed and they went on to say they are unsure whether the government defaulted or the contractors simply did not discharge their obligations.They even condemned themselves further by saying some of projects have been idle for 8 years.
What this means is there are no controls in place. It clearly shows this government cannot manage and the worse bit is they are not even aware of it.Shameless and clueless

Former President Agyekum Kufour deliberately appointed his brother Dr ADDO Kufour as the Minister of Defence only to go and steal at the ministry. Otherwise how could a Medical Doctor be appointed as a defence minister. We can all see the reason why he placed him there. Award huge contracts for kick-backs. NPP the most corrupt party ever to rule Ghana. And they want power again? NEVER! As for John Agyekum Kufour, the most corrupt and tribalistic individual I have ever known.

Also this is Ghana. Do you think the ndc will continue giving contracts to contractors working with the npp.they probably are out of business.The most important thing is most of the job is completed and by the government's own admission they don't know whose fault it is.
