We have been witnesses to some judges taking bribes to influence cases, which has made them loose their integrity. A court's decision may not be final, but in a case of national interest, such a person is accountable and must answer accordingly to such cases.If the big men are not held responsible how can their subjects remain honest or sincere in their duties?

Only in Ghana and other Third World countries will such BIG MAN DISEASE work. The minister should have been arrested long ago but because he is a Big Man, nothing could be done to him. If it was a poor person that had a warrant for his arrest, the police will be swarming on him like flies. This tells you that there are no laws in Ghana that works.
I was in Gwinnett of GA where a high court judge was arrested and jailed by a Police Constable for driving under the influence. The High Court judge was put to trial, found guilty and his license revoked. Can this happen in Ghana. In ATL of GA, a mayor was dismissed and made to serve some months in prison for embezzling $5000. The CEO of Dekalb county is serving a long prison term for taking bribes from cronies and influencing contracts for them. Can such laws ever be enforced in Ghana? That is we are where we are now-poor and underdeveloped.

How can a person for whom there is a bench warrant for arrest, travel through an international airport and through the VIP lounge to attend a meeting on behalf of the state? I am sure he was accompanied by his police escort to the airport. I am sure since the bench warrant was issued, he has been attending cabinet meetings chaired by the President and attended by the Attorney General and the Minister of lnterior.

Frank,there has been many big men arrested for driving under the influence including some police chiefs but there has never been one single case when a Secretary(minister) or any head of department has been arrested for the actions of his ministry or department,this case is a case between those people and the ministry which is the government for that matter the minister cannot be personally responsible for that cse,it is the Attorney General or her representative who is supposed to represent the ministry.
Can you tell us where you know such thing happen before when a minister is arrested for the actions of his ministry when even this particular man was not even at that ministry when the action was taken,do you mean to say that anytime a minister takes action and he is no more in office his successor should be arrested,where did that happen before?

This case has nothing to do with somebody driving under the influence of alcohol and there is nothing that says this is the rank you have to be before you arrest people of certain class,in most American states if not all you can work for even 20 years and still not have a stripe on your shoulder as we see in Ghana, they do their things differently,in some police departments you may only have a corporal or a Sergeant as a supervisor on a shift,a police officer is a police officer mandated to arrested anybody who breaks the law irrespective of status.
That judge supposed to study the law before making his orders,he goofed on that.

That shows responsibility and respect to our judicial system. How can we as a nation have two different sets of rules? Where by there are people who can disrespect our constitution, this is a time bomb for uprising.

Why are we interested in the arrest of someone who is just supervising a good project? If that Chief doesn't need it, other communities need it.

Some one brings a case against a minister in the court n the court invites him to answer some questions to help adjudicate justice. The minister who could have sent his lawyer to represent him decides to ignore the court. So if an ordinary person does the same to our justice system then ask urself were would u n I stand as ordnary citizens of a country whose laws could be disrespected any how. How do we get justice when we r cheated if no one respects our courts. The minister could been the innocent party but u simply can't ignore the order of the court just becos u r in authority. The rule of laws states that no one is above the law. People in authority should set good example for we to follow in order to protect our democracy becos tomorrow u may not be in office n u may need the services the courts.
