Our constitution itself does not allow chief to take part in politics. Chief are not elected by vote but installed by tradition. Whichever government of the country that rules after election will leave one day for another one to continue, so it is just unfortunate for him make such comments. We can refer him to look at how Otumfour Osei Tutu welcomes every politician to his palace to talk about regional or national development. His are open to every politician including the sitting President, who has visited this King more than once to talk about GHANA and not about political parties. That's a shame to hear this other chief openly declaring his support fort for one political party.

Not long ago, he bragged that he would led his people with cutlasses and other weapons to drive away the Fulanis cattle herders whose farm and land is being destroyed. He called the Police against his own people(farmers) who demonstrated against the Cattle-Fulani menance during the Easter holiday.
He has given out many Kwahu lands for many NDC functionaries to rear cattle at the Afram plains and even Kwahu villages near Agogo.
He has outlived his importance to his people by selling even lands that don't belong to his royal lineage.

As a citizen of Ghana, the acting Kwahu Omanhene has the right to vote for any political party of his choice, but in his capacity as the Adontenhene who doubles as the acting Kwahu Omanhene, it is imprudent , unwise and dangerous for him to dabble in open politics to declare his support for any political candidate (albeit the president) .Chiefs and our traditional rulers are by our constitution prevented from engaging in politics and become an advocate for particular political party. The acting so called Omanhene has crossed the line and has proven that he is not savy nor qualified to occupy the acting Okwahumanhene status. He is not deserving of the position he occupies. He must be removed to safeguard the dignity of Okwahu.
