This guy said Akuffo Addo was informed 6 months prior to their arrival but few weeks ago reportedly said he apologized and today turned around to say he has been vindicated.

Your myopic mind think everyone who works for an individual or a group must come out in the open and shout or keep shouting ' I WORK FOR THIS OR THAT' Because you are used to people working one job and mostly after they have done their service, you asume it is the same with everybody..dumb! Because timing is indeed crucial in this debacle.
It may be more acceptable if he had used the word INFORM since this may accurately capture the happenings appropriately.
Not all Ghanaians are political zombies like you think. Some want the best for our country. And if you had the slightest inkling of the depth of skill required in disseminating info to the public in sticky situations as these to achieve a certain desired effect, you will be wary of the Ambassador - and ask for CLARITY from him because everything matters.!!

Has he forgotten Nana was a foreign affairs minister and will certainly act in a way consistent with how things are done in diplomatic circles? And was he expecting Nanato make pronouncements on this matter when he was not part of the negotiations? In a case where the defence and foreign ministers of Ghana have stated publicly they did not take part in negotiations to bring in the two how was an opposition matter to respond to questions. The U A ambassador if possible should provide proof that Nana was informed or consulted to put this matter to rest. I don't believe the ambassador though.

Is nana not in the know about his party's MPs addresses, media houses, etc? He even knows of his Let My vote Count and Occupy Ghana desciples who will quickly grab this opportunity to make noise of the issue raisng public awareness and debating to even make government take a second look and possible reject the transfer. But what did he do? He exercised very bad judgement and poor leadership skills and confirmed he and his party currently does not have what it takes to come to govern Ghana safely and intelligently. The worst of it is that he lied about it.

Most of you do not worth good discussion on issues affecting Ghana and the mitigation measures. It's hard to deal or discuss with people who easily become happy and easily become sad. The time frame you gave was the problem here,you categorically said Nana Addo was consulted 6 months before the transfer was made,what's clear now is that US ambassador says he was consulted but Nana says he was informed the two re not the same,consultations mean he's reasons was sort,and if so what was Nana Addo,s position when they did?informing him mean they didn't need his input on the matter as they had already concluded with the president.so where's the vindication here?Americans don't speak good English so I can understand the ambassador,we often here the British augue this point,Goege Bush is a very good example in this case,his English was so bad that,he embarrassed America till he left office.You can't compare him to Tony Blair and the current Britain prime minister,Obama brought lots of respect to the American people on this score,you can google this form your own information.
