The EC Commissioner is misguided and turning out to be a failure. Her recent decisions are very disappointing and seriously dent her judgement, especially the recent staff changes at the Communication Department and now the supposed new logo. Months to one of the most important parliamentary and presidential elections in the Fourth Republic, she is concerned with staff changes and introducing new useless and meaningless logo as part of a so-called five-year strategic plan. What strategic?

Perhaps, she wants stamp her authority on the EC but she is doing it the wrong way. In fact, she is turning out to be another Lauretta Lamptey, the disgraced former CHRAJ boss who was dismissed for causing financial loss to the state. Charlotte Osei will face the same charges and would be forced by public pressure to resign.

The logo has nothing in common with Ghana, her people, culture, customs and traditions. How much did it cost to design that logo, who commissioned it and what was selection process? The EC could have made this a national competition by school children to encourage the youth in the work of the EC and electoral processes in general. What a missed opportunity. I guess it was done secretly so that someone will get his or her 10% cut.

This makes him credible to the neutrals when he lies through his sabre teeth on the more important issues. So that for the neutrals, the argument can be made that 'as for Kwesi, he is very honest. Even the other day, he was heard criticizing the EC. Therefore, if he is defending them on this other issue, it must be an honest view'.

I used to like your analysis of issues but when you foolishly accepted John's appointment all your respect for the masses dwindled. But thank God you are now reasoning with your brain again for many years. EC is not only crazy but useless as it is led by useless woman. How can you even think of changing the logo that symbolises Ghana, useless EC people when you cannot even clean mere voters register.
