Stretching the point raised, about 75%- 80% of all Mahama appointees are Northeners or Ewes, who together form 32% of Ghana population.

NDC continuos stay will never bring peace so long as they destabilize and subvert Ghana social order by especially alienating the biggest tribe, Asante, from the scheme of things out of vindictiveness, jealousy and hatred .

Already, NDC national executives & Mahama cabinet have no reputable Asante representation.

Mahama/NDC arranged scholarship for 250 medical students to Cuba. Only 4 are indigenous Asantes. The rest, from Asante region are the Mumunis, Fiagbenus, Seidus, Yayah, Inusahs, Agbos, Setornus,.. living there.

Then Mahama/ Mills/ Rawlings deny deliberately Asantes top brass positions in Military, police, Immigration, NADMO, CivIl Service, PARASTATALS for almost 30 years?

Then in the face of all these, Asiedu Furcoat Nketsia , Kakra Essamuah, Akokofunu Anyidiho & NDC bigots still find space in their hearts to accuse NPP of ethnocentricism . HAAAABA.

I go further to advise Yamoa Ponko, Dr Agyeman Mensah, Brogya Gyamfi, Boahene, Kojo Bonsu, Christine Amoako, Akah, Dr Tony Aidoo etc that the NDC are using them to achieve their diabolical stabilising agenda in Asante region.

He claimed that the 3 South African trainers had broken specific clauses in two laws. When he was asked to site the clauses on radio he said he did not have copies of the laws. Then they were read to him and was found to have lied. Instead of admitting he started diverting attention say that if the original intentions of the framers of the law to testrict foreigners from providing security services and training had been included then the would have acted illegally, so the laws have to changed. This is the logic of a socalled security expert on what is legal and illegal. No one should this talkative armchair expert seriously

Dr. Aning simply wants to place Ghana in a position of global relevance as far as peace keeping mission is concerned. Ghana has never been involved in any known direct frontline military combat anywhere in the world except peace keeping. Al-Quaeda targets countries that confronts them militarily or that seems to fraustrates the spread of their territorial religious mission and, not countries like Ghana that engages in peace keeping only. Not even in a localise West African civil wars of Liberia, Sierra Leone, Cote 'D Ivore and Mali was Ghana ever engaged in direct combat because the policy of the Ghanaian military has always been non combat mission. Dr. Aning as as a policy analyst should do a further research on activities of Al-Quaeda where they ever have attacked peace keeper country like Ghana. The activities of Al-Quaeda does not recognise countries like Ghana a threat in any way to their mission therefore, if Ghana wants to be recognised as a global player in the world peace mission; the policy of keeping guard of territories already captured should be changed to one of direct frontline combat. Dr. Aning should spare us his "relevance seeking" analysists and be honest in his comments.

Why are all these fools doing their all to label Ghana as a target whilst Al-Quaeda and her many affiliates have not even remotely considered Ghana as a threat to their course? Sometimes, it beats me crazy as to how some people would go to the length with such a scenario just to heighten tension in that beloved country of ours.

From what I read globally, terrorist groups recognize the role of peace keeping missions and do not go after countries that are involved peacekeeping, it's when the mission goes beyond their primary call n get involved in the activities that is directly or indirectly suppress their co called orientations. However it is the core duty of our security to be alert n educate the Nationals all the the time regardless of threat. They are only chasing these targets to wherever it is easier to get them, now that it is getting more and more difficult to take the war to the targets. This is why terrorists wouldn't target Makola Market or Nima, where they are sure of killing more people. They would likely target a 4 or 5-star Hotel or a mall.
