  Liberal education trains for critial thinking which is a skill. Technical institutions and professional schools train such jobs.

  Note also that some programs at university institutions, such as nursing and accountng, prepare students for such professions. World all over, this argument is taking place as parents want their wards to have jobs immediately ...
