WHERE IS SUCH A BREACH OF PROTOCOL OBSERVED? WHERE IS SUCH A THING DONE? WOULD THE ASANTES LIKE IT IF THE OKYEHENE'S DELEGATION CAME TO KUMASI AND DESRESPECT THE ASANTEHENE BY REFUSING TO STAND AND GREET HIM ON HIS LAND?

IF THE ASANTE DELEGATION DID NOT WANT TO OBSERVE TRADITIONAL PROTOCOL BECAUSE THEY FEEL THEMSELVES BIGGER THAN THE OKYEHENE, THEN THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE COME.... THEY SHOULD STAYED IN KUMASI....PERIOD...

Historical perspective indeed- But here common sense and stupidity was at play - You go to somebody's house you must at least accord the host the respect the host deserves- Okyeman and Asanteman plus Old Tafo Akyem has a very deep historical.story in the Akan culture - But this 2016 and not 1700- Briefly King Osei Tutu 1 was killed by Owusu Akyem Tenten and his men whiles King Osei Tutu was crossing river Pra- He was at war with Owusu Akyem Tenten and his men - Bear in mind Owusu Akyem was a Army General in the Asante Kingdom- He had broken away due to the same disregardness that is going on in Asante today- Where did Owusu Akyem and his men settle?
