  Ghana is paying six times its total oil revenue as interest on the country’s total public debt stock; that’s the computation done by former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. 
  
  “We’ll reach GHC99billion by the end of this year 2015,” the Running Mate to the Flagbearer of the biggest opposition Party said in a post-budget presentation interview with Richard Sky of Citi FM. 
  
  “The interest on this debt alone is going to be six times Ghana’s oil revenue,” Dr Bawumia said.
  
  “When we found oil, we were happy that we found oil, but the borrowing of this Government has compromised the whole oil discovery; you need six times our oil revenue just to pay interest on the debt, not even capital, so, it is a really sad development,” he complained.

  Ghanaians do not approve of the new disgusting logo ,b'cos the new logo does not make Sense to the good people of Ghana,and do not bring any innovation to the Electoral process, either than the suspicion to Create Avenues or the opportunity for Officials to divert Taxpayers Funds into private pockets as usual. Remember the recent Bus branding Saga!(how different is that from this new EC logo)!. Therefore, the public do not want a change of logo now or in the future, in my personal opinion.   What is wrong with the old logo for which reason, the intention of the EC is to change it? Has one of the Eagles on the logo lost its head? Or have the wings of the Eagles fallen off? Have they dropped the box with the depiction of a hand putting a ballot paper in the box? Or have the Eagles decided not to hold the box again? What has changed with that logo for Ghana to be introduced to the game of darts logo which the EC intends to adopt as the new logo?
  Amadu Sulley and the EC must go and collect any money they have given to anybody concerning the new logo so it can be used for something useful that ensures ballot papers get to polling stations on time untampered with, so elections can start on time for example, and leave the logo alone.

  It is completely unconstitutional to validate a Voter's Card in Ghana.There are documents like Passport,National ID Card and License that are issued with expiring dates.They become automatically invalid when they are expired.You must renew or validate them before using them for their intended purpose,that's the law.On the contrary,documents like Birth Certificate,School Certificate and Biometric Voter's Card are not issued with expiring dates.There is no law in Ghana for validating or renewal of such documents so it's illegal to validate a Voter's Card.Thank you.
