SOURCE : Class fm online.com--------- Ghana is paying six times its total oil revenue as interest on the country’s total public debt stock; that’s the computation done by former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. “We’ll reach GHC99billion by the end of this year 2015,” the Running Mate to the Flagbearer of the biggest opposition Party said in a post-budget presentation interview with Richard Sky of Citi FM. “The interest on this debt alone is going to be six times Ghana’s oil revenue,” Dr Bawumia said. “When we found oil, we were happy that we found oil, but the borrowing of this Government has compromised the whole oil discovery; you need six times our oil revenue just to pay interest on the debt, not even capital, so, it is a really sad development,” he complained.

The EC is an independent body having a specific mandate concerning elections. As an indepedent body, it is only they the EC who has the competence to determine whether they need a new logo or not. The EC's chair has the same terms of office as that of a Justice of the Court of Appeal.This implies that, any decision of the EC can only be reversed by the Supreme Court.
We should learn to trust institutions stop harassing the EC and allow them to do their constitutional duty.

The EC is paid by the tax payer and must work according to the wishes of majority of tax payers (if not all). You do not think we have to do a new voters' register, yet you think it is prudent and resourcefully efficient to do new logo? Don't you think the voter ID cards must be changed with this new logo, which is as well like doing a new voter roll?
I mean, when I see some of the arguments from some of these managers, I wonder the kind of schools they actually attended to be given doctorate degrees and the rest!!! And, you see them mentioning big schools as well. What a world!!!
