This is rubbish from the Member of parliament as well as the reporter who has failed to ask this MP what information he possesses that leads him to make such a wild claim? If the MP suspects a cover-up, who specifically is involved in the cover-up? If the MP believes there are others involved in the killing of JB Danquah Adu, why does he not name those suspects so the authorities can pursue those leads? This man is merely trying to incite certain voters into believing there's a government cover-up in the killing of Mr. Adu, and that's a cheap shot in his attempt to politicize the killing of Mr. Adu.

I agree with you. The habit of MPs prejudging our Institutions before any action is taken on issues at hand is most unproductive. More, infusing partisanship into every conceivable likelihood of impropriety taints the process of investigation from the start.

It makes it harder for any results to be wholly accepted, even if it is the only viable conclusion.

Our MPs must know by now that they have, generally, failed to prove the intelligence we thought they all have and folks voted for them on to handle our National issues. They have left most Ghanaians disappointed.

I wish they would simply let the State Institutions do their work in neutrality. And if they are not satisfied with the outcome, then go to the appropriate lengths, like the Courts, to protest them.

Everyone ought to let the State Institutions do their job, instead of prejudging their performance, and blaming others without any sensible reason.

How about the following that someone just came up with: "Well, those folks have a history of sacrificing one of their own. They did that to Odikro Akyea Mensah"?

That isn't fair. Is it? So, why would the MP insinuate some Party group was behind the crime, or anyone think the MP should be heeded to, rather than the Security Agencies?

Surely, when a Murder comes under investigations, the net is often expanded at the right time, given what suggests to be an evidence or a lead. But beyond that, we should all be careful what we wishfully infuse into the case without sound logic and reasoning.

Cross section of the public had the information that some names were mentioned, why and how suddenly the change of story?? Who visited the suspect just before the change of statement. What is wrong if investigation is extended to the car that was allegedly spotted at the scene or closer the time of the incident?? if nothing wrong, has that been done?? If no, does that mean the footage was not made available to the authorities concern?? We should not forget that it can be whoever therefore the right thing should be done. For the transfer of the case by their procedure it's in the right direction and where it's expected that with the expertise things would have been done right. Who at all can we trust now for our Justice in this country!!! Oh, God safe us. JB dayie!
