“For us, this will be a landmark election and in our point of view, the future is really at stake. In the last few years we have seen a major decline in economic growth, when we found oil and due to the oil discovery, GDP growth hit 15%. Today growth has slumped to 3.5%. Behind these numbers is an even more worrying development because in a country like Ghana, you expect to see Agriculture doing well at the very least.

“However, Agriculture is almost collapsing. Agric which should be the backbone of the economy is growing at 0.04% as at 2015. Manufacturing growth has also been in the negative for the last 3 years – negative 0.5% in 2013, negative 0.8% in 2014 and negative 2% in 2015. So Agric is collapsing and manufacturing is in the negative and yet our President wants to tell us that our economy is resilient.

“Now I don’t understand what resilient means in this context when you look at all the indicators. How can unemployment be increasing, growth be declining, interest rates be high and rising, your debt levels be unsustainable, your health services are deteriorating, you cannot pay teacher training allowances, you cannot pay nursing training allowances, you cannot pay contractors, businesses are collapsing, utility prices are sky rocketing and yet you are claiming that the economy is resilient? This President is clearly out of touch,” the former deputy governor of the Bank of Ghana said.
Dr. Bawumia also mentioned the steep fall of the cedi, which was now hovering around 4 cedis to a dollar, after depreciating from GHC1.2 to a dollar in 2009, the four-year ‘dumsor’ scourge and the government’s unbridled borrowing and resort to high taxes, which had killed many businesses and made production in Ghana unattractive.

I have never head of an incumbent party competing with an opposition party, it is always the vice versa, but in Ghana, because this ndc weren't voted to power by the citizenry the incumbent behave like they are in opposition , its ridiculous! How can a party in power print a green book as a show case? Lunacy! It should have been the opposition seeking power again from the people to print and be showing them to the people as evidence of their past and how necessary it is for the people to give them the man date , a government in power need's not show the people what they have done because they will feel it themselves, they know how the government has improved their lives or not but these fools , thieves and incompetent gang are wasting Ghana's money for nothing and they will go the way they came in. There is nothing to stop the people from kicking their asses. They are good for nothing.

If one politician stole our money (money for the people of Ghana) and as a result you find it justified for another politician you like to also steal, YOU ARE MORE THAN A FOOL. YOU DON'T LIKE GHANA, AND YOU ARE A THIEF YOURSELF. Think about Ghana first. A public servant who takes home what doesn't belong to him, is a thief who must answer for his action, but because of FOOLISH POLITICAL FOLLOWERS, these thieves have found perfect cover; (hide behind political parties) and play on the emotions of weak minded citizens I call FOOLISH FOLLOWERS to steal. FOOLISH FOLLOWRS will be on radio, tv and this forum to defend these thieves. These FOOLISH FOLLOWERS insult even the Clergy for criminal politicians. The NPP insisted that it'll not accept any logo known to have been designed by Bonsam because the fetish priest's powers are demonic and powerful, and lean more towards helping NDC.
