In the last few years we have seen a major decline in economic growth, when we found oil and due to the oil discovery, GDP growth hit 15%. Today growth has slumped to 3.5%. Behind these numbers is an even more worrying development because in a country like Ghana, you expect to see Agriculture doing well at the very least. “However, Agriculture is almost collapsing. Agric which should be the backbone of the economy is growing at 0.04% as at 2015. Manufacturing growth has also been in the negative for the last 3 years – negative 0.5% in 2013, negative 0.8% in 2014 and negative 2% in 2015. So Agric is collapsing and manufacturing is in the negative and yet our President wants to tell us that our economy is resilient. “Now I don’t understand what resilient means in this context when you look at all the indicators. How can unemployment be increasing, growth be declining, interest rates be high and rising, your debt levels be unsustainable, your health services are deteriorating, you cannot pay teacher training allowances, you cannot pay nursing training allowances, you cannot pay contractors, businesses are collapsing, utility prices are sky rocketing and yet you are claiming that the economy is resilient? This President is clearly out of touch,” the former deputy governor of the Bank of Ghana said. Dr. Bawumia also mentioned the steep fall of the cedi, which was now hovering around 4 cedis to a dollar, after depreciating from GHC1.2 to a dollar in 2009, the four-year ‘dumsor’ scourge and the government’s unbridled borrowing and resort to high taxes, which had killed many businesses and made production in Ghana unattractive

What should inform the President to say that NPP wasted his first year in office. Who did anything to stop him from doing all the dirty deals during that period? President Mahama has done his own calculations and has found, the sums are not adding up. What President Mahama thinks will help him, is to resort to lying and by saying outrageous things. He is doing exactly this. The fact of the matter is that he is struggling to work in a position he found himself in, unprepared and unmerited.

look at the health sector, the police hospital expansion project is near completion, the University of Ghana's own to same. Dodowa district hospital has already been commissioned.
take a look at education, 200 new SHS is being built across the country. Polytechnics are being converted into technical universities, as for road, the records are just too unprecedented.

He is however able to deliver on virtually all his promises within a matter of 3 years. School are being built, roads constructed, new hospitals are being built etc.
Talking about Mills regime, JM only steped in his shoes as demanded by the constitution but was elected as president in 2012.

We have seen expansion infrastructure facilities in all sectors of the economy. the Ridge expansion project is near completion as well as the police hospital in Accra. Some of the loans governmnet contracted are being used for the Circle interchange project, kasoa interchange project etc. some also used for the new 200 SHS being built by the president.
The bus rebranding issue is no issue as smarttys has refunded monies due the state.

anti-govrnment forces as heads of public institutions and government organizations who engage in conscious acts of omission and commission targeted at making his government unpopular.One of the biggest threat to democracy in Africa is that high profile public officials are politically active against civil service codes.When you therefore have people who are sympathizers of the major opposition party in key positions,it is a risk because some people have unrepentant hatred for the NDC as a party because of its ethnic constitution and historical antecedence.Like it or not some people have inherent ethnic prejudice and hate for northerners not because of their inability but merely because they are northerners.The same go with ewes.Some people who suffered under the PNDC revolution because of their own iniquities have inherent hatred for the Founder JJ Rawlings and by extension the NDC as a party in government.Unfortunately,the Mahama Government took things for granted with regards to the sensitive politico-tribal culture in the country that have a significant influence in public sector performance and in civil service.A measure of political influence in civil service is the high political contrast in organizations like the Ghana Medical Association and the Ghana Bar Association with most Akans pro NPP and most Ewes and Northerners pro NDC.Unfortunately for the NDC and the Mahama Government some gurus of the NDC party with selfish motive of making money go lobbying and taking bribes to usher in people as heads of government organizations,agencies and boards who are not ready to work with a government and party they don't like.Most top civil servants or public office holders are political amphibians or political chameleons who adapt depending on the party in power despite being significantly active in partisan politics making it difficult to detect anti-government forces likely to use their position to undermine a government and make it unpopular in the interest of their party.A lot of vigilance with respect to contact and information by grassroots loyalists is required to identify anti-government elements who sabotage government effort.Admittedly this problem of allowing anti-government forces a field day to operate started with the Mills Administration and President Mahama refusal to purge the system to his own benefit is now reaping the consequences of it.Significantly,the current NDC membership with card-bearing members is full of sycophants,hypocrites and opportunist good at character assassination,gossips and lies with the aim of undermining others to make mince meats.The current NDC lack the typical grassroots loyalist of the PNDC or NDC 1 under Jerry Rawlings who are in contact with leadership and deliver accurate information based on the facts on the grounds for action to be taken.That is different from the hypocrites,charlatans and opportunists parading as card-bearing members good at fabrication and concoctions far from the truth for mainly selfish parochial motive and misleading the president in the process.Otherwise,the president should have by now know the moles in the public sector undermining his government with the intention of making it unpopular.It is for this reason people mainly Ewes and northerners can be sacked from public institutions strictly on tribal and political grounds having being labelled as NDC sympathizers who campaigned for then candidate Mahama.These illegal sackings bothering on corruption are being glorified as legitimate with obvious fabrication because same NDC gurus and high profile government functionaries are involved in malicious and vicious propaganda against the victims who ostensibly suffered persecution having being tagged as NDC sympathizers.If one is illegitimately sacked from a public institution based on malicious fabrications and concoctions and is now a victim of a government propaganda by highly placed NDC gurus,the same party he purported to have campaigned for to cover the truth,then it is a huge abberation.The victim became a victim of corruption because he was highly vocal against same as a fervent believer of the socialist ideology of the NDC party that preaches social justice.Worse still is the fact that legitimate bodies like the AG Department try to tentatively suppress such obvious corruption cases in an attempt to cover these corrupt public officials at the behest of government who are paradoxically undermining the government at every twist and turn to make it unpopular with the swan song of incompetence and corruption, something extremely difficult by any sound mind who have been a victim of crass corruption and illegalities in the public sector mainly by anti-government elements, not to appreciate just because same is abhorred in the ruling government ideology as a social democratic government.I do agree with a friend who once remarked he care the less about political parties but strong leadership because all political parties and politicians are the same thus making non-sense of the relevance of the concept of political ideology.Unfortunately some of us as loyal children of the PNDC revolution that thought patriotic values of probity,accountability and integrity are still leaving in medieval times because aggressive pursuit of wealth through short circuit corruption and illegalities not hard work, is generally touted as being smart even by the youth of today.Corruption is quit a rare occurrence in countries where the citizenry are naturally patriotic and nationalistic committed to hard work in nation building.That is why i laugh of the idea of the Mahama Government being single out as corrupt and incompetent because governance is about the people though admittedly political leadership and direction is imperative.

What NPP members except is that John Mahama, Electoral Commission and NDC were to have told NPP that you took the matter to court so come and take the country, because we are not going to respond to your suit. The laws of this country said that a person who is accused of a crime must be given the chance to defend himself.
NPP members are of the view that when they accused a person the person is guilty, thus should not defend himself and that the courts should prevent him from defending himself.
Whiles I was coming to work today if someone stops me to ask me questions for five minutes he wasted by time, and that is a fact. NPP wasted millions of man hours of Ghanaians in 2013 and the Supreme Court should be partly blame for it for entertaining such baseless case of pink sheets that were forged by the swindler Mahmudu Bawumia.

One can see clearly, the potential has always been there and it is there for him to be good at this comedy and concert thing, and he must be encouraged, because it can be lonely after leaving office and all the trappings of power, after he has failed miserably in the governance process.
It might be the one thing that will help him deal with the pain and bitterness after the verdict is read for him officially, about his loss in November.

Business went on Smoothly,for some months before the electoral petition started.You as the President was working as proceedings in the Court went on.Your admin or gov't was not Stopped in any way or manner.
