Any document that has an expiring date can be validated,that's renewable.On the contrary,any document that has no expiring date like the biometric voters' register of Ghana cannot be validated because it's unlimited.Thank you ...

Did the case travel to the Supreme Court before the decision by the Law Lords? ? Was the appeals court decision over-ruled? They should let us know.

Please,this is simply to understand,that ruling is not what the Supreme Court had,that case is still there,it has nothing to do with the substantive case.

The judge should have asked the plaintif to get a new lawyer instea ...

The judge should have asked the plaintif to get a new lawyer instead of dismissing the case because a lawyer without license filed the case.

This should not even be a Supreme Court case if they have rules regarding the license,the professional body should be reminding people when their license is left with few months to expire and let them know what will happen if they don't renew it before it expired,they should make anybody who fails to renew before it expires pay a small fee in addition to the regular renewal fee.

Besides, there are no expiry dates on my legal professional certificates and there is nothing thereon that indicate that they can expire or have expired. If the legal profession in Ghana was being properly regulated, this would make sense, but alas, it is not and people who should have long been disbarred and/or should be in jail are still walking around and strutting like peacocks without any repercussions. This is what spawns corrupt and crooked judges. It just stinks

Idiot, when a Supreme court (THE FINAL WORD IN LAW MATTERS) rules, it's decision overrides the lower court's, so it is not contradictory. The lower court has been reversed!!

Nonsense. The best approach is to place a suspension on licenses and the suspended lawyers can resume practice only after paying a higher fee to renew their licenses. The attorneys stay suspended indefinitely if their license ...

Nonsense. The best approach is to place a suspension on licenses and the suspended lawyers can resume practice only after paying a higher fee to renew their licenses. The attorneys stay suspended indefinitely if their licenses are not renewed. Prosecuting and disbarring lawyers for failure to renew their licenses is a senseless approach.

It is this same appeals court which ruled that Woyome did not commit a crime!!! I hope the Supreme Court will over rule that bogus ruling too.
