There are many Nigerian young girls all over accra into the business of prostitution claiming life is hard in ghana hence why they into prostitution, many of which who are in my area and the sad thing is, they claim they are ghanaian when etc etc because some connections man who don't think about national intereste took bribe and got them a ghana passport. Everyone who live in east legon know that it's this Nja girls doing this. The Song of Malaya by Okot p'Bitek clearly shows that men of various categories patronise them including even the priests and the school teacher as well as the school boy. Legalisation of their work would take off these alleged harassment and abuse by the police. The state must be bold to legalise it. The Chinese who smuggled some ladies into the country into prostitution were said to have reap a fortune out of it.

The police is to maintain peace law and order within the state ..Not rather aiding and abetting rather.
