Bonsu has cleaned up the mess in KMA, where officers used to divert money meant for cleaning the gutters in Adum and kejetia. Bonsu has got rid of womanisers and recalcitrant officers, who embezzled public funds. He oversaw the Jubilee park construction which has boosted the image of the '' garden'' city, Kumasi. He can bid for the presidential position but I doubt NDC will give him the nod as there are people like Adjaho, Spio-Garbrah etc. all waiting in a long queue. Bonsu should not bother too much about not having a degree. What matters is his integrity and patriotism, which he has already exhibited as a mayor of Kumasi. If Bonsu casts his mind around the political spectrum, he will see thousands of graduates many of them with 1st degree, masters, PhD etc but cannot be president - the reasons are obvious for all to discern.

Right,I thought about the same thing but the media was not wrong either,he was appointed by the president but was elected by the assembly based on local government guidelines.
