What the hell FDB is talking? after letting us believe that there is no technology to test and detect plastic rice , they are now saying they will take samples and see what? for the first place they have failed us, that should have been tested daily since almost 80% of our food is rice. Now they flood gates of bribery and corru3ption is open again, FDB officials some are corrupt and the importing companies will fight back not to lose huge sums of monies by way of confiscation, hence bribery gala. African countries should aggressively blacklist chine rice importation and turn to other countries for the commodity whiles aggressively perusing a massive local rice production agenda. It is an opportunity to grab and start our own green revolution.

I hope people are not getting confused. There is a possibility that a Ghanaian rice importer may have imported the wrong kind of rice for consumption. The Asians have different types of rice for different meals and different purposes. I am married to an Asian in in my home we have what they called "STICKY RICE" This kind of rice is not for boiling and eating with stew or waakye, or Omo TUO, they way we Ghanaians prepare it.. Sticky rice is very gluey and are used for special rice cakes and pudding I am fully convinced that the wrong rice may have been imported into Ghana.. The mistake could have come from the exporter or likely by the importer.. The sticky rice is not plastic at all; it is a special rice.

Why is Chinese rice not banned in Africa ? The Chinese know what they are up to but looks like African law or policy makers are failing if not refusing to use their brains. The fact is there is no technology to test for fake rice and there is strong evidence that Chinese are producing plastic rice and other unwholesome food. The solution is total ban placed on food product from China. But Africans, for how long do we have to depend on these evil people called Chinese? I think it is time for Africans to wake up and stand up for ourselves. If foreign rice has become dangerous, why don't we depend on our local rice which is better and more organic than any imported rice. I mean Ghana in particular has local rice which we can easily turn to. We need to appreciate what we have and make the best of it. Don't let China take advantage of our love for foreign food product and decide whether we eat and die or live. Right now some of the meat products from China are nothing but the flesh of dead Chinese stollen from mortuaries in China
