This is a big,big joke.How can the Prison Service ask for 60 million cedis and be given only 10 million cedis to run the service?Anyway in a country with just one organization having about 30 thousand ghost workers this is what is bound to happen.Ghanaian workers are stealing all the monies which should go to the government.It is sad!!!!.

Development ways to start prison farms for your food and sell to the public or supply to known company to sustain the service,more prison officers should be trained and redesign the Ghana prison service to be productive with the free labor they re waiting.People with vision should be the ones to head this institutions not lazy minds like we currently have.Same goes to 48 engendering regiment,if Mahama was wise,could retool this soldiers to undertake all road construction works to cut down cost,this soldiers re already on payroll so adding allowances to their pay to build our roads ll give this country the breakthrough we all need.But for corruption we left this them out and recieving 10% as kickbacks from contractors,the army should recruit more artisans for this achievable exercise for the state.
