My friend, first of all, you have to establish whether what is reported here is accurate? Second, if they truly came into the country under the banner of the so-called Impact TV of Denmark? Third, did they make their intentions known before the authority and got the clearance needed? Lastly, who led them to that mining community in the Eastern region to do their filming? The above are what you have to consider before dismissing them as some “African Basher” of journalists.
Fortunately, two of the criteria needed has been cleared by the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) on behalf of the Danish Journalists. Now, all one has to do is to check if what is reported here is accurate by which I am having my own doubts due the involvement of the military police in the picture before us. In short, that is not the mandate of the military police. So, what are they doing here in the picture if the above posting is the actual footage from the scene?

Corney, where did you get that information of yours from? Where do you think the president organises his Meet The Press (MTP) at? Look bro, not every office in that edifice is assessable by journalists and the president's personal office is one of them. That, comrade, is the protocol. Yes, it's true that the few journalists that are allowed to patronise that compound have to declare their gadgets, gears or equipments for inspection before entering. Just like how it's done at the white House at address Washington.
Unless, of course, an ordinally person is visiting or invited, then one has to leave behind all gadgets in his or her possession at the entry point as stated by protocol.

Your statement above command the impression that all must let go the gadgets including Journalist and so therefore makes my question very legitimate under the subject at stake.
“And don't ask me where I get that information from,I'm talking from experience.”
What is that suppose to mean? Corney, if you are reporting from experience, then so are a few in others.
Two days ago, you took Inusah Fuseini to the cleaner with me as a passenger. Well, what make you think you were right about what actually happened? The man is a paid minister, Isn't he? Who happened to be invited by a local musician and a red carpet rolled before him. He amicably honoured the invitation which was in his own backyard and decided to show his appreciation by throwing some fews cedis around, suddenly it became a sensational news by which you waved in accusing him of spending taxpayers money lavishly and taking me along for seeing nothing wrong with his action.
Well, my question to you is, is Mr. Inusah Fuseini not working under this administration by which he is paid? So then, where is this thing about spending lavishly with taxpayers coming from? Who has the audacity to tell who what to do with his or her money out there?

We all know about the importance of security.
You have not been there and asked to surrender such items so you do not have the experience of that, that is my point.
I'm NDC perhaps more than you do but I don't support anything NDC and in this particular case it has nothing to do with NDC.
About Inusah Fuseini,I still stand by my comments and to remind you again that he used tax payers money to do that because he is paid by tax payers,he is not a businessman, this is the reason why I said he used tax payers money to do that,he gets per diem, kickbacks all from tax payers, there is no way he would have displayed such an amount in public as a poor lawyer.
We need to call spade a spade when they go out to do something in public that can damage the party,we should stop supporting them blindly and tell them the truth in their faces, they will like it better than to be giving them fan fool respect, some of us cannot forget how this kind of life sent NDC to opposition in 2000,we need to tell them the truth and stop pretending,we would have been all over the place condemning it if our opponents have done same.
Than you, enjoy the rest of your weekend.

In the case of Inusah Fuseini, is he not paid according to his capacity? So, whether it's coming from the taxpayer's chest or from the pope, the money is paid into his account and he can do whatever he wishes with it. If he has been dipping both hands into the nation's purse unauthorized and opulently showing off at the expense of the citizenry, then you have a legitimate case. Other than that, I do not approve of your sentimental judgement on his recent display since I see absolutely nothing wrong with what he did. Plain and simple. I' am done here.

The question you need to be asking is did they follow protocol. Did the body that issued the license also attached guidelines to follow. You see our country has long been broken, and we don't seem to have the right thinking people to help put thibgs in place to fix it. Because our education has been chew and pour no brains. Every problem we have in Ghana has solutions right here but seem not to have the brains to fix them and won't allow Ghanaians abroad with the right discipline, attitude , knowledge and experience to come lead th evolution. Beats me. The problem is with the body tgat issued half baked license. They were quick to collect fees for that incomplete license ., which is getting people into trouble. What a disgraceful attitude to adopt by harassing Danish Media reporters who were in this country to report on mining and the destruction caused to our environment. Mining in Ghana today needs all the external exposure required to force the incapable government to look into the damaged lands caused by the rampant illegal mining in this country mainly by criminal Chinese and Indian citizens. If this government is reluctant to stop the incessant illegal mining in Ghana, then I am afraid it would be up to the international community to force this issue by media exposure. It is up to the incompetent Mr J D Mahama's administration to halt the increased Chinese illegal miners entering this country. Ghana does not need Asian illegal gold miners - and all the current menace they cause to the river bodies and the environment

There is no way here in America, you can just be roaming around neighborhoods shooting videos without permission. Your black ass will get shot instantly before the police will even shows up.
In this days and age, people in western countries still believe there are no houses in Africa. They've been brainwashed to believe everything about Africa is bad. They will degrade you just by hearing your accent.

WHAT IS THE THINKING OF GHANA...MAKING THIS RESTRICTIONS IN THIS MODERN AGE OF WIFI...WHEN INFORMATION IS INSTANTLY SENT TO THE WORLD THROUGH WIFI ACCESS.....WHAT IS NEEDED IS TO DO THE RIGHT THING OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE EXPOSED TO THE WORLD OF THE DAMAGE GOVERNMENTS/CORPORATE BODIES ARE CAUSING TO THE WORLD. THERE IS NOW NO BOUNDARIES AROUND THE WORLD IN THIS MODERN MASS MEDIA PUBLICATIONS:
MFWA argues that the directive clearly imposes direct censorship on the media and clearly contravenes provisions in Article 162(2) of Ghana's 1992 constitution, which states that: “Subject to this constitution and any other law not inconsistent with this constitution, there shall be no censorship in Ghana.”
The ISD's policy, the MFWA statement claims, is also at variance with Clause 4 of the same Article of the Constitution, which provides that: “Editors and publishers of newspapers and other institutions of the mass media shall not be subject to control or interference by Government, nor shall they be penalized or harassed for their editorial opinions and views, or the content of their publications.”
The MFWA, while condemning the attack on the Danish journalists, also calls on the ISD to withdraw the censorship policy.”
