The wife of jake knows the position of the two. She knows Mahama is no less a person but her president and she is thankful to him probably.
NPP should know that the fact that Jake was an NPP member does not mean his wife is. Stop raising Nana to an height he has not reached yet. He is just an ordinary flag bearer and Mahama is the president of Ghana simple.

We Ghanaians are most cynical and insensitive. Many spoke ill of the late President Mills even as he laid in State. They did so of the late Baah-Wiredu, and they did so of many other members of various Governments. As much as the actions of these Public Officers might have rubbed some of us wrongly, we still owe it to the dignity of humanity to show compassion to those they leave behind.

The biographical assessment of anyone dead is appropriate but there is time for everything and we need to learn when it is most appropriate to lash out or criticize a dead person, especially, when he or she was not a menace to the Society.
