In your case what triggered the activation and operationalization of separate account with $89 in party accounts and $48,000 in another account which you were not signatories to as a Chairman was, your avowed stance to scuttle the chances of the elected flagbearer of the NPP party, triggering funds from his fundraising activities from the party account, which from the committee hearings, was revealed were even being mismanaged so early in your administration.
Let's just say it's only a fool who would allow such actions to go on, 1. An agenda to scuttle the chances of the party in the polls and 2. To allow funds so sourced from efforts of the party and the flagbearer to be in control of a chairman with such a mindset.
That even in the stone age would and was never going to happen.
In any case, what funds did you bring into the party after being elected? Where are the vehicles and resources you promised the party after being elected?
The party, sympathizers, and supporters are fully in support of kicking you out for actions deemed detrimental to the fortunes of not only the flagbearer but Ghanaians at large. If you had problems about the management of campaign funds and that of the party, and why they should be kept separate which was the convention during the tenure of Kufuor, the right and proper thing you needed to do was to brainstorm and come up with workable ideas and solutions that would be acceptable to all. You screamed wolf when there was none, in keeping with your agenda of painting the party and the flagbearer black. Now stay in the suspended state, as Ghanaians support the NPP and it's flagbearer to bring the CHANGE Ghana has been yearning for.

NPP is not some village Committee to be left with only $89 in its account at any particular time. And folks must be rather alarmed at this spectacle, and wonder who did what with NPP's money.

As I mentioned elsewhere, the unnecessary creation of private Militia and hiring of Mercenaries to train them, amidst the paranoia that Akufo-Addo Mafia had developed over the period, is one reason why the Party's coffers had gone empty.

There's no reason why a major political party like the NPP would have such a paltry amount in its account other than the party officials emptying the account because of their disappointment about who their new Chair and Vice-Chair were. The evil that they threw at the incoming Afoko and Agyepong has boomeranged against the NPP, and the party is now swimming in an ocean of chaos and despair.
