.There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

The NPP is rife with violence dating back to Busia and their cohorts attempts to kill Nkurumah with bombs, and shootings (kolongugu and old Flagstaff house) to the more recent violence after the last election culminating with internal killings in the past year.

An opposition party so disjointed have never been witnessed in the history of the fourth republic.

The reason why NDC is a better party at winning elections is because they recognize the ultimate goal. The realize what is vital and what is frivolous. The NDC as a party tries to win elections. Governance is another issue for discussion. There are little to no ego. Of course it does occur, but they recognize, its better to sit at the king's table as a waiter/waitress than to build a restaurant in the forest.

Corruption and Terrorism are two evils with varying consequences.

In one breath, you are saying they were brought to train party security and in another, you are drawing some conclusion of winning elections on the streets.
Afoko should ask himself a very simple question. How many are the party security and how many were to be trained, those he said they should leave the place he alluded to in his statements? Were they 2, 15, 50, 1000, 5000, 20,000? And he should provide a number because the S.A experience has shown Ghanaians that, the party security to be trained were 15 or was it 17? Is it Afoko's considered opinion that 15 or so party security detail could win elections on the streets as he puts it in this country? If Paul Afoko has been around since the inception of the 4th Republic and has been very active in the politics of Ghana and the NPP, he would at least have heard or read about efforts championed and spearheaded by the NPP and it's leaders including the current flagbearer for electoral reforms after every elections in this country. Ken Ofori Atta and his father have all been in the party and NPP politics and by extension, Ghana's politics at large, and the record and the facts just do not support any notion of Elections being won on the streets by the NPP or any of these individuals.

There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

In 2014, Akufo-Addo and his NPP brought Serbian mercenaries into Ghana to train NPP ALL-DIE-BE-DIE soldiers. Since that training did not harden these troops, Akufo-Addo and and his inner circle decided that this time around, they will have to look around the fields of Africa. And they found three willing and able mercenaries lurking somewhere in South Africa. The three were promptly brought to Ghana to "lecture", yes "lecture". In ALL-DIE-BE-DIE lingo, "lecture" is the art of causing mayhem against your political opponent or inciting national confusion an turmoil.

The three began with their "lectures" until word got the BNI and these three were quickly bundled and deported. One could hear cries against the BNI from NPP 'student', "how does the BNI expect us to pass our final exams in November when our "lecturers" did not even "lecture" halfway on what we're supposed to know?". Just like in the years past, confusion reigned in, leaving the 'student' going in directions that were never intended.
