Instead of saying excessive use of juju, the article should be captioned, "Ignorant Black Star players and their continued obsession with bogus juju". sadly, this dysfunctionalsm is passed on to the young who in turn pass it on their children, and the cycle of ignorance gets to be perpetuated. In a culture that reveres juju, athletes who are admired in society become believable when they're heard to profess to the efficacy of juju.

There's no such thing as juju. It's worthless and a scam that has been carried on in African societies for generations. same goes for the quack mallams who practice deceptions similar to jujumen under the guise that they can help others with extra-ordinary powers to achieve the impossible. These are all deceptions and carried out by shameless quacks, just like the deceptions carried out by Obinim 419 and other crooked pastors on their gullible followers.
