The Electoral Commission of Ghana truly does not represent state power or authority, but embodied within the authority and and power of the state. It derives its authority from the power of the state, hence, the design of its most recently discarded logo or emblem, by Charlotte Osei. Again the independence of the Electoral Commission of Ghana does not mean absolute authority of exclusion from the authority of the state. The EC receives its funding, and authority from the Republic of Ghana, and cannot act without the authority of the state power. Charlotte Osei is wrong, and may want to distract public attention from the coming election to the newly created logo, in order to steal the peoples mandate to her paymasters, but this will not fly. This situation is sad, indeed. The EC of Ghana is embodied within the authority and power of the state, as such, the old emblem must stay.

It's gone past the point of humorous to just plainly pathetic.

Our understanding of the term rebrand has just been reduced to a superficial change of logo. All with insanely over-inflated sole-sourced contracts to cronies for the design and printing of this supposed new logos onto the agencies vehicles and landed assets.

Truly rebranding an institution goes much deeper than that.

Charlotte Osei playing this hand and making this one of her top priorities exposes her as just another money-hungry, feckless, rent-seeking African politician. I have no confidence or trust in the EC under her management.

Why this public display? Why not let the system take it's course or fix the system if it is not working?

Instead of this political silliness, the Auditor General can be tasked to audit any Government Organization and simply submit report.

That man is a record time thief. Npp should watch out because we dealing with thives. They know they have already lost the elections. Therefore they have to use that shameless hard face sharlot to do a dirty game for them. But npp this time don't be lenient any bit. Be hard and tough. Do everything manly to drive home a point. The ec has not responded to the new voter register request. It hid behind a committee. And when that seems to have exposed them it is telling a story so incoherent as if we are all mad like them. They should tell those nonsensical stories to the marines. What is rebranding and what is ec rebranding and what is the purpose? Does this supersedes those legitimate issues raised on the electoral register? I wonder why the opinion leaders in ghana should wait till the useless woman destroys the nation
