You have political science lecturers running around the country giving their political opinions and biased analyses, often favorable to the opposition party, NPP. Now you have Jonathan Asante Okyere, a senior lecturer at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), lauding the New Patriotic Party for not responding to the recent allegations by its suspended chairman, Paul Afoko. These professors either want to be talking heads or they don't. Any professor who appears on TV or radio for an interview, should be educating, explaining and informing the people about policies and not engaged in partisan politics through one-sided biased analysis of a political issue.

Afoko has been maligned, torn into pieces in public, had sewer water poured over his person by his own NPP, and the man is entitled to fight back. And fight back he's doing. NPP's silence is by no way golden. NPP is quietly waving a flight flag of surrender. The NPP is running for cover because its dirty laundry is now being thrown into the public arena, the same public arena that the NPP chose to have Afoko lynched.
