However, "mentally derailed" can also be used as a metaphor.... meaning: to go out of the way ... just like a train derails from its track. So mentally derailed may be accepted as "mentally going out of the way", which understandably means the same as "not being normal in the mind".

In the mental field the most accepted word today is Mentally Challenged.The stigma attached to mental needs to be cut out because look at it this way mental illness is same as any other illness that can hit anybody at anytime same as BP,Asthma,Diabetes,Blindness,Cancer etc.we just have to stop stigmatizing sicknesses because it is same as death.Even being fat has now been classified as sickness,addiction to drugs or alcohol has been found to be an illness that needs treatment,tooo much anger is a sickness,depression is a sickness etc.during the old days we saw a fat woman to be bozen not knowing that it was a killer because every weight gain puts much stress on your heart etc.please let us quit all manner of stigmatizations.Thanks.

If the brain dead morons at the Takoradi department of social services were any good at their job Ghana, and specifically the Western region, would be dangerous. In any civilized society, the government agency responsible for the mentally challenged or psychologically challenged citizens and social service staff would have removed the baby from its mother from day one and placed in the care of someone or an agency that can take care of a new born. The woman was mental and living on the streets; she was incapacitated and could no longer take care of herself. How was she going to take care of a new born? Let common sense reign people.

Again I want to make you all aware that its not sakawa ppl or guys that have sex with her..Last two days from today we saw her and another made man having sex in ths afternoon around 2pm...and we punished the made man, often we see the made woman musterbating and playing with her private part, its something that she does over and over......

The deranged woman in this case was taken to the Knust hospital by some good Samaritans were she delivered a baby boy.

You do not treat each other well and that is why you remain so poor. You are living with the devil because you have his qualities. "wickedness, lies, corruption, arrogance, etc." abound in the land and these are things of the devil. Why can't anyone go to the aid of the woman, take her to the mental hospital where she could get help?
