WE WILL VOTE YOU OUT, COLLECT OUR STOLEN MONEYS FROM NDC AND JAIL YOU ALL NO MATTER WHICH PLANET YOU COME FROM. ASIEDU NKETIA IS SCARED OF HIS DUBIOUS BUI DAM DEAL!!!!! NDC HAS ABANDONED THEIR PROBITY, TRANSPARENCY, INTEGRITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY SLOGAN. WE WILL NEVER AGREE, WE MUST CARRY IT TO THEM. OTHERS , I REPEAT, WERE KILLED BY NDC. ACHEAMPONG, AKUFO , AFRIFA AND A HOST OF OTHERS LOST THEIR LIVES. THOUSANDS LOST THEIR PROPERTIES AND BANK BALANCES. WE NEED A DEMOCRATIC HOUSE CLEANING EXERCICE IN 2017 TO BRING SANITY INTO OUR GOVERNANCE SYSTEM. WHAT IS THE NDC AFRAID OF?? IF THEY SERVED THE COUNTRY AND THEY ARE CLEAN???? WHEN DZIFA WENT TO EWELAND, SHE DID NOT TELL THEM WHAT SHE HAS ACHIEVED FOR GHANA AS A TRANSPORT MINISTER BUT ASKED THEM TO PROTECT HER BECAUSE SHE HAS CAUSED FINANCIAL LOSS TO THE STATE. WHAT AN INSULT TO THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE PEOPLE OF VOLTA REGION? ??????

Now Politicians are getting 'smarter' these days whiles voters are getting more foolish. These days it is safe for a politician to steal from state coffers so far as he/she is a 'good' criminal who has the skills of manipulating foolish tribesmen and party followers to vote without thinking for him/her to avoid prosecution. They make reference to other tribesmen who were also kleptomaniacs who were caught and jailed to play on the emotions of their weak minded followers. But those thieves should also remember that not all Ghanaians are foolish, and we know that Sipa, Kwame Peprah and Mallam Issah were not their tribesmen. Juloi!

The French philosopher and political activist Voltaire's quote is appropriate for the occasion; the comfort of the rich depends upon an abundant supply of the poor. Why are the residents of the area willing to die for Dr. Bawumia and the NPP or the Minister and NDC when they are both counting on their votes to retain the comforts and status in life that come with being in political office?
At a time in this world when countries are busy pursuing indoor plumbing facilities, politicians in Ghana are busy building pits as toilet facilities for poor neighborhoods and somehow that's the best these folks can do with all the education they've acquired.

The NDC and their patapaa tactics again. They hurriedly organized to provide furniture to a needy school when Dr. Bawumai, after being informed about their situation, ordered school desks to the school. The NDC didn't do anything for the school; the pupils were lying on the bare floor during classes. The problem was there for years until Dr. Bawumia got to the school. NDC diverted desks meant for another school to be sent there.
That is exactly what is happening here right now. The NDC have always had a scuffle with others over toilet facilities and lorry stations etc. The did nothing to solve the situation until the chiefs and elders approached Dr. Bawumia for help. He's already started acting on his promise only for the NDC to try to cause confusion, knowing that Dr. Bawumia and the NPP are winnig the hearts of the masses. Bawumia is not gov't official neither is he a parliamentarian; he's quietly shown the way by providing for needy schools and communities. So what the NDC is doing isn't going to yield any results.
The writing is on the wall; NDC will lose the November elections. Ghanaians prefer help and project initiatives provided by Dr. Bawumia and the NPP, than what comes from the corrupt, clueless and incompetent NDC gov't.

In 2016, should the conversation not be about how to fund toilets in every home in Tamale and its environs?
Public toiles ought to be for emergency use by Tamale's residents, when out and about, away from home.
There are simple inexpensive toilet technologies that we can adapt in Ghana from places such as China ' which could be funded with government grants - if our vampire-elites can be stopped from siphoning off taxpayers' money into private pockets.
